Description

You won't be thirsting—for water, at least.

Strap on the CamelBak M.U.L.E. Hydration Pack and head out for a ramble around your favorite canyon trail. You can stay out for over three hours without feeling parched thanks to the new three-liter Antidote reservoir, while the pack’s main compartment and multiple exterior pockets hold your extra layer, multi-tool, pump, spare tube, lunch, MP3, phone, wallet, and keys. Once you’re arrived at your post-ride beverage dispensary of choice to slake a thirst of a different kind, keep track of your helmet by stowing it in the dedicated carrier.

  • New Antidote reservoir includes a lightweight, quick-seal cap, folding arms on the port to speed drying, and baffles in the body that allow the reservoir to maintain a lower profile when full
  • New Quick Link system in reservoir allows you to quickly snap off the tube for cleaning and easily attach accessories like filters, flow meters, and insulated tubes
  • Main compartment and two exterior pockets hold your extra layer, multi-tool, pump, spare tube, lunch, MP3, phone, wallet, and keys, while XC helmet carry stows your dome protector
  • Air Director back panel features six-pod construction that conforms to your back’s position on the bike
  • Removable 1-inch belt with cargo pockets keeps the pack from bouncing around as you bomb downhill
  • HydroGuard anti-microbial technology inhibits bacterial growth on reservoir and tube surfaces
  • Ergo Hydrolock shut-off valve allows you to control water flow and prevents leaks
  • Distance from shoulder to hip belt: 16in (40cm)

This pack is great for quick rides as it cinches pretty flat and is relatively light. And works great for long hauls - large main compartment, great accessory pocket, and even a dedicated spot for your sunglasses!

Comfortable straps and good adjustability for size and weight carrying.

Removable waist strap is a nice addition but I don't use it even on technical downhill - pack doesn't bounce around much even without it.

Plenty of water capacity.

Great pack for quick trips or long hauls

I got this for my husband who is 6'6" and for my 10 year old son. It fits them both great. We ride bikes and hike and needed the bigger bladder for our son then you can get in the child's packs. It's a little heavy at first but after he drinks a bit he's fine. All the pockets and room for the bike helmet make this a great pack. I love the big opening for easy filling and cleaning. Back Country had the lowest prices I could fine on the internet and their free shipping got here within a couple days. Excellent service and a great pack. I now come straight to Back Country first when I'm searching for gear for the entire family.

Just bought my 4th MULE over 15 years. Wore two out and lost one, so bought the latest. Like the soft lined top pocket for my iphone, the wide shoulder straps, and ample storage for a spare layer and food. Unsure when they changed it, bu the hydration bladder is nicely zipped away in a pocket which cannot be confused with the main pocket and the hydration tube can be easily disconnected from the tube without leaking. The MULE works as a good size for me, and it's nice to see the incremental improvements...

... now just wish I could find the previous MULE I had with all the crap I left in it!

I've had a M.U.L.E. for four years now and it's the best. Had a friend that wore his on day cycling trips and was always jealous, so got one of my own. On a day hike it can carry enough water and snacks to keep you going. You can adjust and configure to carry just what you need, as long as you don't need more than the three liters of water. (I'd stick with the three hour recommendation, but as long as it's not too hot and dry you can go a little longer...especially if you start your trip well-hydrated.)

The air director back panels really do work well and help with keeping your back from overheating.

Great, great small pack. Highly recommended.

i got one of these two years ago and i like it alot. its the perfect day hike pack with enough room for lunch and you can strap a weather shell on the outside. used it mountain bike and it stays balanced and straps on tight. i also use it for skiing. obviously not a treking pack but for a day at the slopes it keeps you hydrated and holds food

I have a few different hydration packs that have served me well but nothing like the M.U.L.E. With the version of the Camelbak bladder and the wide range of adjustments this pack offers, it might just be my favorite pack. Its small enough to use when I go Mountain Biking, but adjusts to be able to carry a big load when I go on a day hike...it's like a trusty little load toting mule that wraps itself on my back holding all my valuables safely.

The thing I like the most about this pack and what differentiates it from the others I have had is that its comfortable under load, has loads of features, straps, adjusting, and has cool removable hip straps if you don't want them dangling down and it doesn't have any harsh edges that dig into your back as you pedal or hike.

Get yer hike on!

I got my Camelbak M.U.L.E. back in 2005 at a Dick's Sporting Goods, when it was on sale. I've used it thoroughly throughout the years, and it has never failed me. Carries a lot of miscellaneous things that one might need on a hike, and the reservoir is good size (although I think there should generally be a larger reservoir available, aside from a 3L)

Got it at the beginning of the year its the perfect size & has held up great. You can fit camera, sunglasses, hoodie (sticking out the sides) because the straps adjust long to where you can roll a rainjacket or hoodie up and have it stick out the sides.. Picture is in Neff's Canyon SLC :)

recommeded :)

Awesome Camelbak, surely the cadillac of them all. So versatile. Can use for anything. The insulation is wonderful as well, kept my water nice and cool.

I have an older model that I've had for years and it's great for little hikes and for caving!
