Long days on the trail require lots of water, which is where the Camelbak M.U.L.E. NV Hydration Pack comes in. With a 100-ounce reservoir and a venting back panel, you’ll stay comfortable and hydrated until the sun goes down. Pivoting shoulder straps and a webbing waist belt keep the pack secure when you hit rough patches, and your pump, tools, and spare tubes all stay neatly organized inside. Camelbak also added an MP3 pocket to rock your tunes and side compressions straps for a jacket or extra gear.

Bottom Line: Ride the M.U.L.E. to hydration heaven.

Been using this pack for day hikes and moto rides in the desert. Not sure if there is anything I would change about this pack. It's lightweight with tons of separate storage compartments. Fits nicely and adjusts easily. Really happy with this piece of gear.

Fits what you need!

Great pack. Been using it for mountain biking exclusively. Fits what I need, tools, spare tube, pump, rain jacket, snacks, leg and arm warmers. There is room for more but not large things. The fit is what I like the most. The pivoting shoulder straps make the fit custom to your body. The back panel is comfortable and very breathable. Fits on your back nicely with its narrow form. Good sized pack for short or long rides, maybe use a larger bladder for longer rides.

This pack is perfect for mountian biking for day trips. Holds everything you might need on the trail without being oversized. The N.V. back panel breathes well on the trail and the straps hold the pack snug for the descents. Highly recommended.

MULE NV

Replaced an older blowfish with this pack. Much better and adjustable fit, rides closer to your body. Doesn't hold as much inside but with multiple cinch down straps holds even more - just some outside the pack. I like the special pocket for my Iphone - protects it and keeps it handy. On the downside is relatively big and heavy - but I am far from a racer shedding ounces. Overall would highly recommend for someone looking for the all-mountain do-everything pack.

CamelBak M.U.L.E. NV

The concept of the CamelBak is genius in general. All I have to say to all on the fence about purchasing a CamelBak,regardless of the amount of outdoor activity you do, just buy it. CamelBak offers a wide range of models that offers features that fit every type of outdoor activity. Just find the one that fits for you. The convenience of having one whether for outdoor activity or just as a small pack for regular daily errands is worth having one, it doesn't have to be solely a hydration pack. The only negative thing I have to say is that I hate that I found it on sale on Backcountry.com after I purchased mine.
