When you cram as much hiking and biking adventure into a day as you do, you need the CamelBak HAWG hydration pack to keep you performing at your peak. Built for a serious scramble up a scree field or for haulin' ass down a trail on your bike, this super stable system holds a whopping 100oz (3L) of water and enough gear, clothing, and food for extended day trips. Now it features a full zip back panel that makes loading a full reservoir a snap, and its Air Director back panel ventilates to keep you cool. A sternum strap and stowable waistbelt keep the pack centered so you can focus on fun.

This pack is excellent for day hikes and day back country skiing. It has enough room for emergency kit, head light, and sunscreen with enough room for food and extra sweater. The only down side to this is that water can freeze in the hydration nozzle, so be sure to blow the water back into hydration pack every mouth full otherwise you may get thirsty later! Very strong construction. I've had some spills and I haven't ripped anything yet!

I participated in an Adventure Sprint Race with this pack. I wore it for 9 hours paddling, running and biking. I never felt it on my back. I had a PFD strapped to it most of the day and all my gear, including food, were carried with ease. I would definitely recommend this pack to anyone who is making day-long treks of any type. It is durable and very versatile. The water stayed cool all day except the small amount in the tube exposed to the sun but a few sips and that was gone quickly enough.
