Nice and Big.

This a great size. Nice and big with the trusted Camelbak mouthpiece on it.

My all-day water bottle.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I live off of water bottles, and this one is the best for mostly everything. I take it to work, up the mountains, on trails, at the gym, everywhere. Right now it tastes like smoke, which isn't great, but I can wash it right up without problem. The only issue I could see is it being too big for weight-conscious hikers and backpackers.

great water bottle

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought these for my kids. They are very popular with high school and college kids. It's a great water bottle. You have to be careful to clean it well as it's difficult to make sure the "straw" is disinfected

Great container. Lid needs work.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I love the 32 oz bottle. The straw works really well, but the bite valve is wearing out after about 3 months of moderate use.

The 1L Eddy works just as well as the other sizes, and has the capacity to keep me going on those longer hiking days. Love it!

Bigger is better

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The larger size of this bottle means less fill ups, but is still a convenient and easy to grip size. As usual with camelbak bottles, the bite valve is durable and has proven to stand up to even more drops and abuse than the previous generation of bite valves. Highly recommend this bottle!

Big CamelBak water bottle

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I like the size of this bottle. Yes it is bigger and heavier to lug around but I bought it b/c I wanted a bottle that could hold more for a hot day's outing.

Hand comparison

Hand comparison

Here it is next to my hand, just a bit too big for an eddy in my opinion.

Bit Too Big

Great all around bottle. Easy to drink from, fun to drink from, easy to carry and much more! I have owned .75 and the 1L Eddys and out of the two I prefer the .75 . It is just a little easier to carry around. The 1L can get kinda awkward when trying to carry it on your belt loop or back pack because it just that much bigger and therefor is just a little bit more annoying than the .75L but again they are great bottles but all around I prefer Nalgenes:)

Great bottle for travel.

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I recently took the 1L Eddy to Guatemala for a week of work. A cheap carabiner kept the bottle clipped to my pack and belt loop with no issues. It isn't insulated, but I had no problems with water heating up in the sun. The mouth piece or guard did take on an odd smell after cleaning with Wet Wipes, and the surface of the bottle became clouded after contact with sunscreen. Those are minor issues compared to the functionality of the bottle, which I enjoyed while working in the mountains and on the plane.

I bought one for my girlfriend because I liked mine so much.

Stay Hydrated

This bottle keeps me hydrated all day long. It is very easy to drink from and the size is great for quenching thirst.

Nice And Easy

This water bottle is great! I initially bought one as a gift, then when I had it in hand I had to get one for myself.

So clean so fresh!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I really like these types of water bottles because it keeps you water sealed and fresh, and it's a ton easier to drink out of than those wide mouth bottles.

gets the job done!

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I'm in the beggining stages of my pregnancy and I need to stay for hydrated, this bottle is so great! Easy to grip, the little straw makes it easier to drink, the color is cool (I got the green) and even when full it's not that heavy and small enough to fit into my purse (and not a monster purse) all in all, I love it!

Solid water bottle!

This is a great water bottle! The fact that you don't have to unscrew a cap means you tend to sip on it a lot, and it's easier to drink more water that way. It is also easy to clean, and it's nice that it comes in a 1L size. Anything smaller is just messing around. It's pretty new but I take it to school with me every day and it's been to the top of Long's Peak already. It didn't leak at all in my backpack, even up the cable route!

Rock Solid

These water bottles are great. One thing we discovered is that our 15 month old can use them without spilling water all over the place. Just a bonus for an already great product.

Does the job

No frills, just minor spills. Did leak a little bit when I just threw it in the trunk, but usually no leakage from normal jostle and bumping around. I like a 1.5L bottle better as I drink like a camel, but this is a good size for most people. Good price too!

Responded on

I love this water bottle is easy to take it wherever I am going and is save. Just put ice in there and enjoy it.

Easy to Clean

The valve on the mouthpiece stays nice and tight so it does not leak but cleaning it is pretty easy. The straw piece can be removed and getting soapy water into the mouth piece as well as flushed out takes hardly any time at all. Dropped it a few times hiking and climbing and plastic did not even scratch.
