- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Had to beef up the straps with some additional velcro in order to not get caught in them, or just cut them off if you like. Used it 24/7 during my recovery from 3 torn ankle ligaments. so best deal if you need to walk around with sidesticks/crutches all day long.
allthough i guess its principal use would be outdoors; hence, there is a small zip pocket i used to stuff a mtn hardwear ghostwhisperer hoody inside (bic lighter sized), a granola bar and keyring. there is not too much space for anything else. the bottle is solid an keeps liquid in as promoted, to get it out its rather squeez-press it out thru the valve than the suckling kind of thing... valve is hard to clean and if used as an everyday "flask" it collects quite a bit of muck very fast.
whilst sitting down in public transport, car seats, having your fleece touching, it constantly requires some proper maintenance. sanitizing solution applied with q-tips helped in every case. This issue can be solved anyhow with these protective covers on every pet sports-valve bottle.
The holster also accepts the PRIMUS commuter mug as well as any similar sized nalgene or off the shelve bottle.
I'd probably gave it 5 stars if just used for running, randoneering or similar. So since i abused it properly, i actually discovered some of the mentioned shortcomings.
