perfect for short hikes with the pup

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This has just enough space to bring along a couple dog treats and enough water for 1-2 hour hike. Other than freeing us from having to bring a regular day pack for short hikes the best thing about these is the adjustability. I'm 6'3" and about 220, my wife's 5'9" and slender and we can both use this pack with plenty of adjustment left over.

Great product for 5+ mile runs

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I enjoy the product. The Hydration pack is comfortable to wear, and has a large pouch for my cell phone and keys. Only downside, is the adjustable strap comes loose after a few miles. Quick fix, I added safety pins to keep the adjuster from slipping.

Not recommended

The water bottle is too big and it drags the belt down wherever it is sitting. (I am using a smaller bottle). I could not get the belt to stay put. It sagged down (the belt would not remain tight) and it spun around. It is annoying to have to cinch your water belt every ten minutes on your run.
The key/cell phone pocket is nice and big.
But overall I don't recommend this product. There are better hydration belts out there (albeit more expensive - sure).
