My first camelbak!

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

This was my very first hydration pack and my hiking life has been changed. So much easier to pack water, instead of carrying a heavy, large water bottle around. This pak has 3 different compartments: 1 for the reservoir and 2 others that are zippered. Plenty of room to fill up the bladder to 2L, carry snacks, phone, keys,'s just enough room for a day-type of hike. If you're looking for a pak that can carry clothes/jackets, etc...I would suggest to move up in size. But if you're just carrying your hiking essentials, this pak works perfectly. The women's specific fit is nice, the buckled straps don't hit you in the weird chest area and the hips straps hit perfectly. I was impressed at how comfy this pak was, buckling in the straps helped minimize the weight of the bag as well. I don't know why I waited so long to get a hydration pak, but I am glad I did! Hikes are so much more fun having this thing on my back keeping my hydrated and mobile.
