The screw cap on the CamelBak Better Bottle With Classic Cap keeps your liter of water from spilling in your hiking or commuting pack, while the BPA-free material soothes your worries about chemical leeching. Since CamelBak made the Better Bottle with a copolyester polymer, this water bottle won't dent easily like many aluminum bottles. Clean the Better Bottle with soap and water, or stick it in the top shelf of your dishwasher.
Love this water bottle from its wide mouth and twist off top to its capacity. Every time I damage or lose it I replace it with the exact same bottle. I like to drink through two a day, and the full liter capacity makes easy to keep track of my fluid levels.
Does anyone know what insulated sleeve I could purchase for my camelbak 1 liter water bottle since camelbak doesn't seem to make one? Anyone's input would be appreciated. Thanks....

I prefer it over the Nalgene. Not really sure why, just personal preference. I like the shape, the color, and the cap more, plus everyone has a Nalgene, its a nice change of pace.
I have used Nalgene for years and now with this whole BPA disaster I decided to switch to CamelBak's BPA free bottles. I purchased 2, 1L bottles and I love them. I like the design better than the Nalgene design. It also gives me some comfort to know chemicals aren't leaching into my water.
Does exactly what it needs to: holds water and lasts. I like the size a lot, slightly bigger than the other CamelBak bottle I had and some of the Nalgenes. Doesn't really taste like plastic at all and it doesn't leak at all, just what I bought it for
I used to use hydration bladders for desert hiking, but I could never tell how far 'down' I was on water. Plus, on longer desert hikes with no water sources, I like to carry four liters of water. Now I use one of these bottles with the sucking straw cap, which has a drinking tube attached to it. I carry up to three of these bottles with the classic cap. When I drain each bottle, I swap the bottle for a full one and put the classic cap on the empty. As a result, I always know how my water supply is holding up without having to open my pack to check a bladder.
Yes it is BPA free but so are most naleges. Basically it is the same price but gives you 250ml less!!! Maybe im weird or something but when im on long backpacking trips I like to hold as much water as possible. You can never count on that next blue line actually being there. I know that from experience.
I use the bottle for tennis. I just fill it up and drop it in my bag without worrying about leakage. Biggest dissappointment is no insulation sleeve to keep water cold and condensation down.
I like the size of this bottle for bringing a couple of days worth of milk/juice to work with me. I love the lid-it's secure and leak proof and makes the bottle easy to carry, needing only a finger to grab when your hands are full. Wish it came in a few more colors like the rest of the bottles.
