  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift, but have feedback to share

Got this for a friend of mine who was looking to stay hydrated during a charity walk and now she uses it all the time. It fits her perfectly and has just the right amount of water for her short jogs in the morning.

I borrowed a friends CamelBak and went for a 10 mile run. The pack fit great and didn't bounce around while I ran. The bite valve didn't leak and even it if had then is a shut-off valve..! The pockets were large enough to hold several gels and easily accessable. The only problem I had was the hose would bounce around when I would run at a faster pace. It wasn't a big issue on a 10 mile run but if I was running for 3+ hours with the bite valve hitting me in the chest it might be. All in all a good product that I can see myself purchasing in the near future.

Has anyone else had similar problems with the hose bouncing..? If so what did you do to fix it..?

Camelbak makes a couple of accessories for that. One is called the Tube Trap, and the other is called the Camelclip. Backcountry stocks both types.
