I absolutely love this pack!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought this for training for a half marathon. It is light weight and I hardly even know it's there. I fill it with ice and water and it actually cools my back while I'm running. There is also a pretty good size zipper pouch to put your phone and keys in. Great price, great purchase.

CamelBak perfect for running

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Recommended by a fellow running friend, I finally broke down and purchased my first Camelbac for the summer heat running and long runs and now don't know why I waited, as I do not do well with the heat. Will now not go without it. This pack actually has been good for my long runs in keeping me well hydrated, which am training for my first 1/2 Marathon. I am still trying to adjust the fit, but agree with others about the no flopping or sloshing (like your hydration belts). This pack would also be great for hiking. Love the pockets to hold keys and gels. Would not hesitate to buy another one; am sorry I waited so long.

CamelBak- perfect for hiking

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is my first CamelBak pack and I've been very happy with it. I've used it all spring and summer for various hiking trips. It has held up well - still looks new. It is lightweight with comfortable straps and holds plenty of water for a morning or afternoon hike. I've also really appreciated the 2 zipper pockets. They can fit a granola bar, chapstick, sunscreen stick, money and my keys (and my phone if I really squeeze it in there).

Awesome CamelBak for Long Summer Runs

I recently purchased one of these for a friend (in pink) and one for me as well (in blue) because we wanted to have a convenient method of bringing water with us as we ran trails in preparation for a few summer 5K and 10K trail races. These packs have worked perfectly, and now we never leave home without them. They carry just enough water so you don't have to stop at water stations along the race routes. Plus, the strap across the chest keeps the pack in place while you are running so it's not flopping all over the place, which was my main concern when purchasing a CamelBak for running. The women's fit is also quite nice as the shoulder straps are very comfortable and fit just right. I would definitely recommend these packs for running, and they would also be useful for outdoorsy adventurers who enjoy mountain biking, road biking, kayaking, and hiking. With this summer being so extremely hot, it's nice to have a convenient method of carrying a bunch of icy cold water! The pockets are perfect for holding keys, cell phones (even the larger phones), a camera. I would buy another one of these hydration packs in a heartbeat!

Great pack

Got this pack for short mtn bike rides or hikes. This pack has the smaller bladder which is nice, but not very versatile if you need it for longer distances. The pocket on the pack is just the right size for keys and camera! Love it.
