Good gloves

  • Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I purchased these gloves as a gift. They fit adults with small hands perfectly and basically half the price as adult gloves which you can't go wrong with there. They are very durable and keep your hands warm and dry. And I do agree with some reviews that it does restrict the thumb a little but not very noticeable.

Great kids gloves

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

I got the XS for my 3 year old and they are still pretty big, but fit my 5 year old well with a bit of room to grow into them. The little guy can still wear them though. Gloves with the wrist strap you can tighten are key. Even though these are big the strap keep them on well and keep him warm.

Get the job done

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit:True to size

I am a petite woman (5'/90lbs) with small hands. Most women's gloves are too big. I initally ordered the L but returned for the XL. They were purchased for skiing. They fit, for the most part, but my only complaint is how the thumb part is designed. I found it a little awkward and does not allow for a whole lot of movement of the thumb. Since they are for kids, that probably doesn't matter much for them. They kept my hands dry and warm. They are great quality and seem like they will last a long time.

Staying Dry

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I got a pair of these for both of my kids. I bought Medium for both. My daughter is seven, and in the first grade. My son is nine and in fourth grade, and has small-ish hands. This size works great for both kids. They have played with them in the snow and their hands have stayed dry and warm. My only complaint is that my daughter has a hard time getting both gloves on by herself, and therefore chooses to wear different gloves to school. Outside of that these are the typical great quality that I expect from Burton.

Burton Kids glove

We loved the designed of this glove. My son picked the CAMO. It's a great glove but sizing is hard with Burton. You will find they offer Kids, Youth and Boys/Girls. We have a boy, bought youth medium and it's way too small, he's 8 years old in 3rd grade. Sadly we bought it in Novemeber and now the color he wanted for Christmas is sold out. We ordered 3 more pairs to compare sizes, even the Burton Website is confusing!!! The kids medium is the same size as the youth medium and boys medium. My son is 8, and clearly the LARGE is the right size for an 8 year old. I would err on sizing one size up for your children in BURTON gloves to avoid what we had to go through, 4 pairs later!!!!
