The Burton Men's XIII Snowboard Boot gives you Cadillac comfort, Asten-Martin style, and Porsche performance. An articulating cuff, thin-profile molded tongue and Flex Spine backstay give the Burton XIII super-fast response, thus conserving your energy for the après party—excuse our French. With more internal comfort features than you can shake a ski at (adjustable heel-hold system, Imprint 4 liner, B3 Gel cushioning to name a few), Burton ensures a smooth and comfortable ride until the last lift shuts down at 4:30. **DISCONTINUED**

Bottom Line: The Queen of England, Lance Armstrong, and the Terminator had a three-way, and for a hundred bucks they let Mick Jagger watch. The Burton XIII was the result.

burton style w/ super comfort

I picked these boots up after riding the ions for the first half of the season. Ions were just a little to stiff for my comfort. The XIII's definitely are the most comfortable boot I've ridden! They provide enough support but are still plush and cozy to ride all day every day. However, after 10 days the rubber toe started to peel off the front a little. I continued to ride these boots 40+ times this year and they are still killing it with out any other quality defects. Haven't put the Ions back on since!

the toe box is a little wider...the length is similar.

Your toes should be touching the end (but not smashed) when you're standing up straight in the boots when they're laced up, they'll break in a bit and give you just a hair more room.

Dropping into 'X Chute' w/ the XIII boots. So cozy and still stiff enough to ride the steep stuff!

I rode Ions for many years, but tried these on once and knew I had to shred in them. I got mine last April and put in 20+days on them....man are they nice. Definitely softer than an Ion or Driver X, but still supportive enough if you lace them up nice and snug, and for me, it's a perfect mix of support and mobility. There is definitely enough flex in these to press and butter, but I've always felt confident in them to support my ankles on landings. They are definitely premium in every way, easily the most comfortable boot I have ever owned in over a decade of riding. The liners make sweet, sweet love to my feet in a way I never thought could be possible with something besides fuzzy slippers.
