Description

The Wheelie Gig Bag is a big, bad bag big enough for all the gear you can grab.

Deep within the bowels of the airport and in the storage compartment of your bus, there lurk luggage lump-bangers and snarggle-swindling suitcase snookers who are on the prowl for your precious shred-cargo. Fortunately, the Burton Wheelie Gig Bag is built tough and has ample cushioning for all your gargantuan gear to thwart their evil plans of pouncing your product before you can get on your way to pillage your plunder of powder.

  • Durable 600D polyester resists wear and tear to prolong the life of the bag and your boards
  • Large capacity stores multiple snowboards plus most of your gear
  • Large outer pocket stores boots and bindings to free up space in the main compartment
  • IXION wheel system makes short work of long drags through the airport
  • Contoured zipper pulls adjoin to create a loop for TSA-approved locks
  • Padded shoulder strap is both adjustable and removable for storage and travel
  • Reinforced haul loops at ends and top-carry handle make the Wheelie Gig Bag easy to grab at any angle

The product description says it has a pocket on the outside for boots, but one of the reviews below says it does not. Can anyone say definitively if it does have an outer pocket that will fit boots? Thanks!

Hey Jason,

No. You will want 158+. If you're planning on putting all of your gear in the bag too (boots, bindings, soft goods, etc), I would go with at least a 164cm bag.

Although I've only taken one trip to Jay Peak on a bus with this bag, it's pretty rugged and constructed well. It holds a ton, I ride a 159 Lib Tech and got the 162 Majestic Black Plaid and I didn't have a problem with putting all my gear (plus swimsuit, and off mtn wear) in there for 3 days. I sort of wish it had pockets on the outside for the boots but it's really not an issue for me. The wheels come in HANDY especially if you fully load it and don't want to lug that thing all around the airport, etc. I plan on using this for 10 yrs so it better last!
