The Burton Men’s Vent Pants have been around nearly as long as Burton. Once you spend a day riding in them, you’ll understand why. These pants rely on time-tested features, bomber construction, and clean, simple lines to ensure a great day of riding.

  • Dryride Durashell fabric and fully taped seams block all moisture
  • Mesh lining for improved moisture management
  • Mesh-lined inseam vents let in cool air when the temps rise
  • Integrated gaiters ensure your boots don’t fill with snow on a pow day
  • Large cargo pockets to hold your lunch, tools, or extra gloves

Bottom Line: Withstands the test of time.

Good Pant!

By:

I have worn them a few times now and they not only look good (orange), but keep me dry. They also seem to keep me from getting too warm, though I have not been out on any really toasty days yet.

You will enjoy them.

It is a zip in pant to jacket interface. Burton has stopped doing this on 2010 jackets and pants. But if you have an older jacket and pant they will fit just fine.

Works like a charm

This is a great pair. The leg vents are great.

I wore a thin base layer and nothing else under it. In 23 degree weather I was comfortable. Later in the day it warmed up to about 38 maybe a little into the 40's. I zipped the leg vents open on the lifts going up the hill, zipped them back up before moving off again.

Absolutely perfect. Great fit. Zips to my jacket, locking out wind and snow from the few falls. Would buy 2 more.

Wondering if these are a bright orange or more of a burnt orange

Wondering if these are a bright orange or more of a burnt orange color, i'm not so into the neon... but orange is my favorite color

They are not neon orange, more of a burnt orange or pumpkin.

They are what they are.

These pants are nice and lightweight with zero insulation. But they keep you dry. Wearing some thermals underneath make them perfect for cold days, and the side and inseam vents are sweet for super hot days. My only complaint is that they run really long. For sig fit pants they sure are baggy. As long as you have your boots on they are fine, but once you take them off they are draggin on the ground, even with the little tab to hold them up.

I use the side snap to hold my pants up off the ground. This works well if you want to use them for skiing instead of the baggy look of snowboarding.

Black Men's Vent Pant

By:
February 9, 2010

These pants were great because they were the best bang for the buck... Unfortunately when I received them I had ordered Medium when I should have ordered a Large. I usually wear pants with waist size 32-34 and these pants were too tight. I had tried on similar Burton pants at a store and the mediums were perfect (even loose). Ultimately, I returned these and purchased some Burton Men's Shelter Gore-Tex Pant. They are awesome, I always stay dry and they have awesome vents. I highly recommend the Men's Shelter pant or even the vent pant if you don't want to spend so much....
