Snowboarding loses its appeal pretty fast if you get soaked, so Burton made the Men’s Traction Jacket with 10K-rated, fully seam-taped Durashell fabric for supreme moisture protection. A powder skirt keeps out the snow when you drop into the freshies left from last night’s storm, and Burton’s articulated hood fights off the storm that’s still raging. The Traction Jacket also has an MP3 pocket, so it’s easy to crank the music from your favorite seggie through your audio helmet. And you’ll never feel held back thanks to the total freedom of movement allowed by this jacket’s relaxed fit. - Fall 2008.
No its not turd, its mocha. You should get a white beanie so you look like a nice mug of mocha, the girls will be all over you trying to get some of your warmness.

This jacket is huge!..I'm 6'4 and 210 and the XL rests on my hamstrings...Crazy long but width wise not too bad...I'm hoping the Large will fit better cause it is sweet...
I got this jacket several weeks ago in size Large and am 5'11. The fit in terms of length is perfect, I wouldn't risk going down a size. Better to have a progressive baggier fit that can take layering than a jacket that rides a bit too far up your arms.
I had to return the jacket because I ordered size too large. Let me share this important credit card experience with all readers. Backcountry.com is very good about refunds. I got mine within a couple days of their receiving the returned jacket. Unlike the-house.com. I had to return boots that were too tight. The-House .com received the boots on Mar 4. Today is Mar 24. I have now called 4 times asking about my refund. I am now being told expect refund Apr 1. Also return shipping cost me over $20.
The Traction jacket is going to be taller than the next brands coat, it features Burton's team fit which is 'longer and roomier' as they put it. You're probably looking at a 36" center back length.
{haha... if the pocket is hidden, its probably a 420 kit pocket, a.k.a. a pocket for a little bit of weed, to take to the treeline and smoke.}if the zipper goes all around the bottom it could be to zip to your pants burton has this on many pants jackets, if it is for a small pocket then above is correct. although it says it does not have zip in compat so i think above may be right
