The Burton Tailgate Sock gives your all-around comfort for long days on the mountain. This sock doesn't bother with fancy-schmancy paneled construction; instead, it focuses on clean design and materials that will keep your feet dry even when you're working up a sweat.

  • Blended synthetic fabric wicks moisture and dries quickly so your feet won't feel damp and clammy
  • Lightweight cushioning throughout the sock adds comfort and a bit of shock absorption
  • Elastic panels on the arch and ankle provide gentle support
  • Link Toe seam across the toes reduces chafing
  • Elastic Stay High comfort band holds the sock in place over your calf

Good sock

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit:True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

Got these socks in the spring on sale after the season had ended. thus, I haven't had a chance to use them for boarding yet, but after wearing them around the house for a while, I will say they were definitely worth the money. The elastic works well on the shin / calf area and has no problem staying up and in place. I'm also a fan of the color scheme - me and my roommate both thought they looked really good. The fit is also true to size, no issues there. My only complaint with these is they aren't really as thick as I would like them to be. For a sock labeled as a "mid weight," they seem more to me like a light weight sock. However, I haven't used them on the mountain yet, so we'll see how they do come December.

perfect weight

  • Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought these as a gift for my man--his previous thin socks were on the outs, and these were a great replacement. He hates to wear thicker socks when he rides, so these are perfect. I expected nothing less from Burton.

sweet striped snowboard socks

Gave these to my brother for Christmas and he's loving them! Not too thick, but definitely not too thin. If you're looking for a thick sock with more padding I would suggest a Euros or Smartwool sock, but these are a good midweight option.
