Board Sack,,, A++

Nice sack i have to say. But put the tail in first and not the nose. Or you will think the bag doesn't fit. Tail in first... Well i put my board in for the summer with the bag 35% off. Mine came with a cockroach in the shipping box and that wasnt on the invoice so i guess he was free. Nice board bag i got the the 166 True Black for a 158 Burton Dominate with Burton Bindings on. It fits nice and i even have the Burton Sleve on my board. Bag doesnt have much padding,=. I plan to put all my gear in it. Pants, Jacket, Gloves, Bpats, He;met, Towell? Extra socks? Wax? Headphones, MP3? Good for a truck bed and not a plane or bumpy travel. Comes with soulder straps which i wont use unless im cliambing a mountine,,Has a pocket or 2 also. nice bag for +++++ $25!!!!!!!!!! +++++++ Worth the money at 35% off guys!!!

Great bag for the price!

If you're looking for a good board bag that get's the job done then this one is for you! I bought the 160 in true black and I could fit my 155, my boots, gloves, jacket and pants all in the same space. Board safe homies!

Great bag

I bought the bag for a 156 board and the bag is 191. yeah big, but i can fit everything in it with no problems of zipping. It is very nice looking and is made of a pretty thick material and large zippers so im not scared to just toss it somewhere. Great buy

Burton Board Bag

so far so good with the bag...i've only traveled with it once so far. My board is 142cm and the bag is 143cm and my board just fits....but there's plenty of room for me to throw my pants, coat, goggles and all that other goos stuff in it.

Why is the one 156 cm Black Polka Squares...

Why is the one 156 cm Black Polka Squares more expensive than the 181 cm in the same design?? thats retarded!

Responded on

that is a really good question!...thats happened before and ive wondered but this was the last straw, i went and asked...heres the conversation i had with a backcountry employee on live chat.

"-cyrus: hi a customer asked a really good question about the burton space sack BUR2442
-cyrus: one of the models is more expensive than all the others ones and there seems to be no reason why
-Brett S.: Just a moment while I look into that.
-Brett S.: I am not sure why that would be a different price... sometimes we place items at different price due to what we have available and what sales.
-cyrus: and thats a fixed price? can it be changed to match the rest?
-Brett S.: I cannot change that sorry. Burton selects the pricing and will not lets us discount without permission
-cyrus: Oh ok that makes sense...thank you"

stupid as it may be, thats the answer...GOTTA LOVE BC's CUSTOMER SERVICE :-)

Will the bag be big enough for 2 boards...

Will the bag be big enough for 2 boards with bindings on both boards?

Responded on

no way...theres very very few bags that can accomodate a load that big, and most that can are in the 100+ dollar range...is it too much to ask to take the bindings off of one board?

hi. I have a 158 board and I'm wondering that I am getting a bag to big for all my gear if I get the 181. any opinions?

Best Answer Responded on

this will work great...the awesome thing about that extra 23 cm in the front means you can stuff a high volume object there, like a helmet, down jacket, i can even fit my boots in the front of my 181 bag, but i have a shorter board...a snowboard bag is a big thing already, so you might as well go all out!!!!...cuz a snowboard trip requires lots of crap, and youll need plenty of room for all of it :-)

Sweet bag!

I've had this bag for a little more than a year and it has been amazing. I can fit my mounted board, coat, boots, pants, and helmet in it with still some extra space. The only drawback is no padding. About six months ago I went on a trip to whistler and when I got my board it was a little beat up but stil alright. When I got home I bought a bigger board and everything still fitted greatly. All in all a great buy.

Good bag but no padding means NO padding

Great bag for the price but seriously there is no padding anywhere on this thing i wouldn't trust it with the airport guys. Fits a mounted board and snowpants and a helmet AND a coat hat and gloves.

Great basic sack to keep yo gear

I don't snowboard too often. Maybe 1 or 2 times a year. I bought 161 for my 151 stick. fits board with bindings, boots, and other gear. great for carrying stuff around. I wouldn't fly with it though. Not too much padding. If you have mid to high end gear, get a better bag. Great buy for the money and what I needed it for.

SO FAR SO GOOD

I just got mine. Zipped in my board, bindings and boots! I can fit little misc things in there too (gloves, hat, googles...). Fits comfortably on my shoulder. Not padded at all. But does the job.

great value

The space sack is the perfect canvas companion to protect your board and the car seats from each other. It's also got room for your all your riding gear so you don't have to search under the seats or in the trunk for those elusive goggles or missing left glove - it's right there in the bag cozied up to your board where you packed it!

Sweet Bag

Its a cool looking bag, its a bit smaller than i imagined and it fits the board with the bindings on it but not much else will fir in there.

BURTON MAKES THE COOLEST THINGS that ARE GREAT FOR THE MONEY!

My style is eccentric and i bought the 156 bag in hot pink! This bag fits my 152 board and also my boots! The shoulder strap works and sliding in your board and taking it out is a piece of cake. I am traveling with this bag to my trip to Vancouver and am very excited! You get what you want from Burton! My next purchase would probably be 2 steps up from this so i can get padding! But for the short time i have and the money, this is a life saver! Thanks Burton and Backcountry!

Awesome

Got this bag so i can transport all my gear around. I got the 181 bag, big enough for my 160 board, with enough room for my size 15 boots, bindings, helmet, snow pants, etc etc. Holds everything i need it to plus more! Strap clips work great and are easy to unhook.

I have a 161cm board with bindings. Will I be able to fit this and a large pair of boots into the 166cm bag or should I go for the overkill with a 181cm bag to be safe?

Responded on

Go for 166cm bag - it's big enough for 161cm board and other stuff you mentioned + more gear.

will this protect my board on a plane?
