The Burton Space Sack fits your stick with bindings, and it won't cost you your arm, leg, and left nipple to get. If you want to pack both your powder and rail boards, remove the bindings, slip them into this bag, and throw it on your truck bed for the drive to the resort. Since you’ll still have both your arms, you’ll appreciate that the Space Sack comes with a removable shoulder strap and two handles to give you carry options.

Bottom Line: Go where the snow is.

Talk shop with all the gear freaks out there: ask 'em questions, upload/browse photos, and give your 2¢.

This is a great bag. Especially if you don't have a boot bag. You can stuff your board, bindings and all with your boots on top. It's got a lot of room and is really rugged.

This bag is perfect for you day to day riding travels. Helps protect your stuff and your friend's car. Through all you got into this, then put into the trunk or the bed of the truck. Get home, unzip then air it all out for the next day. Think about upgrading if you plan to travel a lot, but if not this is a perfect bag for you. Check it out.

you'll be able to fit your boots for sure... However, I would suggest getting something with a little padding.

Check out the Burton board sack or gig bag.

Judging by the size of your plank, I'm guessing your boots will be big too. You might be able to squeeze the boots in but it would be a very tight fit. If you want to carry more gear with your board, I would suggest getting something a little more roomy

not bad...

By:
February 17, 2010

i used it for one (non-air)trip so far and everything is good so far. However, the straps are uncomfortable(no cushioning) and the bag has no additional pockets.

my friend got the dakine padded one for additonal $20 and it's much more durable and has pockets.

does a great job of protecting by board whether it's sliding around in the back of my truck or going through customs.

It is not Heavy-duty but will suffice for air travel. Keep in mind that it is not padded so you will want to wrap your "whip" in towels or something.

Not too shabby

By:
February 4, 2010

After a couple trips, the bag started showing wear where the edge of board rubbed against the bag, but it works well for the price. I think I could have prevented this by putting t-shirts or some sort of padding around the edge of the board. I really liked how much I could fit in the bag (181cm): board, boots, helmet, jacket, pants, gloves and hat! Nifty! The styles are pretty cool too; they make it easy to spot your board at the airport.

My son received this for Christmas. Loved it!! Not much padding, buy plenty of room to carry boots and goggles. Would definitely recommend.

great bag at good price

By:
January 1, 2010

i got the tokyo lights bag which fit most of my equipment well. i could not squeeze in my XL helmet though, which was a bummer. just make sure you get a bag that is a little bigger than your board to give you some extra leeway room. all in all, it was a good buy and it came within a week. i would highly reccomend this buy for the price.

wrong color for RN Flannel

By:
December 28, 2009

Well first of all I was very disappointed when I opened my backcountry package because this bag does not look like the picture at all. Instead of the cream and orange RN Flannel its GREEN AND RED!!! And i cant believe backcountry hasnt changed the pictures since I order this the day after Thanksgiving. I am very disappointed in backcountry and will never order from them agian. I mean yeah I can exhcange it or return it but its basically false advertising (which is wrong) to have the wrong picture up.
