Almost as skinny as your skinny jeans.

Cruise into the park in style daily with the Burton Men's Southside Slim Pant. The Southside takes cues from slim-fit streetwear with its looks, but it's jam-packed full of shred features. The Southside is made from the DryRide DuraShell, which keeps you from getting wet when you take a spill in the slush. It boasts fully taped seams to further keep you dry and to prevent moisture from seeping in. Taffeta lining helps the pant slide on and off smoothly, and mesh lining improves breathability. Mesh-lined inseam vents allow you to dump heat when it warms up. Ghetto slits on the reinforced cuffs add style while Cuff Elevators protect your hems from muddy parking lots.

Great Pant With One Exception...

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The fabric is very nice and seems likely that it will hold up well over time. The pants are not as skinny as some. I would say they are more like a slim/straight legged fit. That being said, They are very narrow at the bottom of the pant. So narrow that it was hard for me to fit them over my boot, unzipped. The pants would be perfect if they had a bit more flare at the feet. They do run a little on the small side. I have a 32" waist and wear a very thin base layer bottom and am maxed out in the waist in a size large. All in all though, they are a good pant.

Very Slim, but nice pants

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift, but have feedback to share

I bought these and another pair of snowpants for my boyfriend to compare the fit. These didn't make the list, but seem like great pants. He is 6'2" and 175lb (32"x32" pants)and ordered the medium. He liked these pants but compared to the others, they didn't make the cut. The reason being, they are REALLY slim fitting and we were concerned that once he was riding they might not have enough flex room (especially when needing to layer). I also tend to trust Gore-tex products better so the fit would have to be amazing to pick over Gore-tex pants. The length and waste was great and I'm sure for some people the slim fit is also great. If you aren't for the super slim cut, they have the same pants in a regular fit.

Pretty Good

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I am not very big into super skinny boarding pants but heard good word about these guys. Lets just say, they are certainly slim fitting pants. A recommendations would be to put some sort of spandex/elastic material around the thigh area so you are able to squat more before popping.

I am 5'10' 170 lbs and the length on them is great, perfect. The waterproof/breathable rating does its job well.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

First off, I have purchased alot from Backcountry with zero issues. Everything is brand spanking new and I can't wait to rip open the cellophane! That said, I purchased a few pair of snowboard pants and these ones were the keepers. I got the canteen/black combo in L (I'm 6'1" 145lbs 31" waist) looks great with my DC jacket and adds some interest to the pant [not too mention additional fabric in that knee area]. Fit is true so if you can wear a slim in everything else and you like a slightly narrower fit...then you'll love these. I don't skimp when it comes to outerwear for snowboarding. Nothing sucks more then being cold and wet on the hill. I use these in really cold and windy Canadian conditions with just my ninja underneath. The fabric is sturdy but not stiff, durable, comfortable, well-made and well designed. The reason these are more than some others is evident in the superior quality of the fabric that doesn't rip to shreds, let the wind blow thru or get soaked. Have a look at the inside of the pant, turn it inside out and you'll see all of the attention to detail where it counts to do the job of keeping me warm, dry and on the hill...

They sent me a pair of used pants!

  • Gender: Male

The pants were previously used because you can tell by some light wear on the heel and butt area and the left heel draw string does not pull up the heel, because the draw string was ripped from the original location, but I heard this is very common. I am just bummed because they sent me some used pants, without checking the product for recirculation. I use to love DogFunk, but my heart is torn!

Was wondering if they fit true to size or...
