Pull on your Burton Women’s Society Jacket, and rub elbows with the jet-setters. Burton gave this insulated jacket its DryRide Durashell coating to help you stay toasty while you lap the park, ride the slopes, or barhop through Aspen. A swanky Wrapture lining not only feels good and layers easily, it also wicks perspiration and breathes so you can avoid that post-ride clammy feeling. Zip the Society to your Burton pants to lock in the luxury and lock out the elements.

Bottom Line: Experience the high life.

How does the extra fabric (with snaps) work when the hood is

How does the extra fabric (with snaps) work when the hood is not in use? Does it flop around one's face if the hood is on the jacket but it's not cold enough to wear the hood? Thanks.

The hood is not removable, so the snaps are there to keep your face nice and warm. You don't have to have the hood up to use the snaps. They can be folded down if you do not need the extra protection. It will respond like any other jacket when not zipped up.

Yes it is. It has 40g of insulation to keep you warm, but you could always wear more layers underneath to stay even warmer.

Went to Tahoe w/ this jacket. Day started sunny and it was perfect. I had a thermal and a t-shirt underneath. Day ended super windy and snowing. Temp around 35. I was feeling it.

super cute jacket but I feel that it runs small. The bottom feels tight. Should've have ordered a size up.
