Bottom Line: The Burton Freestyle Binding gives you the performance you want at a price you can swallow.
Freestyles are the best out there, they are simple, cheap, and tough. I do most of my boarding in the trees, and they definitely take plenty of hits in stride. While not as responsive as other bindings, the extra cash in my pocket is worth it.
Hi, most Burton bindings come with 3 holes which makes it proprietary. How many holes are in this Burton Freestyle Snowboard Binding Item #BUR2507? If I get this binding, does it restrict me to a Burton board only or not? Thanks!

For the money when on sale are good. I was riding one of burtons old old school bindings, that i feel are still better. If you want a great deal, go to sierrasnowboards site, and get these bindings. You will get a much better deal. They are on there for about 56.00$
For what the Freestyle bindings are designed for, I'm sure they're great: beginner park riding (where flex and feel are paramount). Unfortunately, because they're the cheapest of the Burton bindings, most beginner riders assume they are Burton's "entry level" binding and best to learn on. Bad idea. . . the highback on these is mostly for show, and soft enough that you can flex it in half by hand (practically Pool Noodle soft). My local shop told me they put kids in them who are too big for juniors bindings but too light to get any flex out of stiffer adult bindings. If you're only interested in learning park riding definitely try them out, but if you're looking to learn how to carve, go up the price range a point or two (Burton Customs are a great step up and shouldn't be more than $10-20 more expensive if you look around).
i have the 2007s and they are very cheaply made. i got them in the last last week of march used them once. I went back the next year and after 3 three runs the sidearm snapped in half but burton quickly replaced them with these ones and they are no better.
i bought this one in yellow and got a great response if you are starting in the sport it is a superflex binding and let your feet whit the board like as one
I like this bindings because I don't notice them. The toe-over setup and amazing amount of adjustability make you feel like you're welded to your board without the tourniquet effect to your foot. Highly recommended.
these are very good bindings, i got them for my little brother who's teaching me to snowboard, and he absolutely loves them, he broke his leg last year, so he really wanted to make sure that his new bindings would support him, and they do! he's hitting jumps again just like he never got hurt at all!
I bought these for my 14 year old son. We were both very pleased with them. My son thought they looked great and gave him good support on the mountain. They were more than I expected for the price and exceeding our expectations.
