Burton gave their boot-design gurus free reign to create the ultimate high-end snowboard boot—and after countless prototypes and hundreds of hours of tweaks, the SLX was born. Light as a feather and packing more tech than your average fighter jet, the SLX is not for the faint of wallet, but it sure is drool-worthy.

  • S4 shell panels use Schoeller Keprotec mesh (the same stuff used in bulletproof vests) for insane rebound at minimal weight
  • Speed Zone lacing independently tightens the boot's upper and lower areas with the pull of a cord
  • Dual-zone B3 Gel cushioning in the toe and heel absorbs impact for a smooth ride and less foot fatigue
  • Articulating cuff provides a smoooth, crease-free flex throughout the boot's range of motion
  • Shrinkage footprint-reduction technology reduces the boot's overall size for less bulk and more board-width options
  • Vibram Alpha EcoStep 2 sole reduces weight and environmental impact (made with 50% recycled rubber)

Wicked boot!

Alright people, this boot is incredible.. I'd have to say this is the most comfortable boot I've ever put on. These boots make carving the mountain all the better. Previous SLX boots were total garbage.. Anyways, Burton really did nail it with this years SLX.
