it's a sufficient shovel for sure. it's good and light. i don't however like it as much for digging pits and making clean straight walls of snow for testing.

I have used this shovel for the past few years...luckily never to dig someone out, but I use it all the time when I am in Switzerland for building kickers. All my friends are always jealous of the shovel cause i get the most done with it.
