Freeride board with a freestyle mindset.

The Burton Sherlock Snowboard combines a directional freeride flex with a twin freestyle shape, to help you get rad all over the mountain. It has all the features you'd expect from Burton, like The Channel mounting system for unrestricted setup and a Flying V profile that blends deep snow float with all-terrain freedom. So whether you're seeking out side-hits or popping pillow lines, the Sherlock won't let you down.

Burton's Flying V profile puts rocker under your feet, for deep snow float and a forgiving ride, and mates it with camber under the feet, for powerful turns and stomped landings. The Sherlock has a twin shape for high-speed switch takeoffs, but the directional flex employs a softer nose to keep the nose from diving on when the snow stacks up. There's a half inch of setback, which maintains a slightly directional feel. Side Effects means you get the longest possible effective edge per size, which translates into trenched-in turns. Frostbite edges bump out under the bindings, for improved edge hold in firm and icy conditions, since you'll likely come across tracked out sections on the way to your favorite stash.

The profiled Super Fly II core keeps the weight low and the response high. It gets a boost from Squeezebox, which means that the core is thinner under the bindings. It works in conjunction with The Channel mounting system to eliminate dead spots in the flex pattern, for predictable control. Pro Tip construction in the tip and tail reduces swing weight for fast spins and responsive turns. Infinite Ride ensures that the Sherlock feels broken out of the box, and stays that way for the life of the board.
