Description

A private investigator for powder-hunting.

The Burton Sherlock Wide Snowboard will close the case on your missing powder slashes and pillow-line dropping with a little help from Flying V Rocker, Frostbite edges, and Squeezebox technology.

  • Flying V profile floats powder and pops off take-offs with authority thanks to the blend of between-the-inserts rocker and subtle camber underfoot
  • Frostbite edges protrude right under the feet to grab ice only where you need as to never feel grabby or hooky
  • Carbon I-Beam augments longitudinal snap along the board's centerline
  • Triax fiberglass not only provides aggressive snap off the lip and quicker edge-to-edge response, but also reinforces the overall construction of the board to resist breaking on big landings
  • Squeezebox technology thins out the core between the feet, beefs it up directly under them, and energizes the tip and tail to make it easier to steer and add pop
  • Super Fly II core maps certain areas of the board giving you strength, pop, and reduced-weight just where you need it
  • Dualzone EGD (Engineered Grain Direction) switches up the core construction along likely areas of impact on the edge to run width-wise to increase impact resistance
  • Side Effects lengthen the surface area at the contact points for hook-free planing in powder and increased edge hold on groomers and chop
  • 10:45 sidewalls, are beefed-up from the standard sidewall and are built with dual-angles (10 degree and 45 degree) are designed and proven to absorb impact
  • Sintered base is made from a durable, porous compound that retains wax, holds speed on flats, and resists damage from under-snow hazards
  • Twin-like directional shape floats powder without limiting you from switch landing when necessary

A twin-like directional flexing board with Flying V for your rider who rides the mountain as their park. New Smooth Ride internal dampening lets you ride faster through rough terrain with more control and less wear on your body. If you are killing pow, dropping cliffs, and sending backcountry booters this is the board for you. Watch Mikey Rencz destroy the mountain on this stick in the new Burton Movie Thirteen
