Burton’s Sherlock Snowboard can be found smoking pipes around the world and unlocking secret lines through tight trees and deep snow everywhere it travels. Using the pinnacle of Burton’s snowboard technologies, the Sherlock makes quick work of any terrain.

  • Flying V rocker features the best of both worlds. Rocker in the middle, tip, and tail with camber hiding in between—giving you the power you need to really dig in and the freedom you desire to dominate log slides
  • Frostbite Edges are used on the camber sections of the board so you get the extra grip you need to power through steep chutes
  • Smooth Ride internal dampening technology removes bad vibrations from your riding—giving you more control and taking some of the bite out of riding all day
  • The Channel provides you with the most direct connection possible to your board and allows you to adjust your bindings to precise widths and angles so your stance is dialed to perfection
  • The twin-like shape is a slightly mutated twin that still goes both ways and performs better in deep snow and variable conditions
  • Side Effects lengthen the surface areas of the tip and tail to improve edge hold and float in powder—a new feature exclusive to the Sherlock
  • Burly 10:45 Sidewalls can take a beating all year long thanks to dual-angle geometry, extra cushion, and more sciencey physics stuff
  • It glowz in the dark—nuff’ said

Bottom Line: Put this in your pipe and smoke it.

Sherlock

The Sherlock is sick, I have been looking a twin board that floats well in powder and has a freestyle feel to it. In my opinion the Flying V is the best rocker that Burton makes and the Sherlock performs great all over the mountain because of it. Having camber under the feet gives this board the grip to rip and turn that many rocker boards lack. Also I love the channel, I have a difficult time straying from Burton now because on all of my channel boards I get the best possible stance options.

The Burton Sherlock has been well received by everyone who has ridden it. It was one of our most demoed decks of the year. The crazy thing about the Sherlock is new technology Burton calls "side effects", this lengthens the surface area at the tip and the tail contact points to improve edge hold and allow the board to plane easier in powder.

You can really feel the difference between this deck and any other. It is crazy how much of a difference that extra little bit makes. The board will blow through any type of snow at any resort. The new Sherlock has found it's self, now it is time for you to find it.

Unbelievable board

I'm 6' and bought the 157. My last board was a 156 Ride Profile that I had for nearly 10 years. I am amazed at how much better the Sherlock feels overall. It seems like I catch way less edge than my old board and I love how the flying v gives it a flexy floaty sort of feel, yet it still feels very stable and responsive. This board does exactly what I want it to do and turns a a dime. I'm very happy with it and I haven't even taken it in the powder yet.

What more can i say about this New Board from Burton. It has everything you need to take it out and have a fun time in any condition. Some of the new tech on this board is what makes it a keeper. With elongated contacts points your grip through turns; on this Flying V Rocker is nothing short of amazing. The playful ride and extreme float you'll have in powder turns all conditions into your own personal terrain park. With a twin Shape and a directional flex this free ride machine is the perfect blend of big mountain aggressive and loose freestyle park.
