Burton developed the medium-flex Men's Serow Snowboard Boot for Japan's powder surfers. Vibram outsoles with rubber ice spikes grip the snow so you can hike the ridge faster, and the articulating cuffs let your feet move fluidly for excellent control as you carve the mountain. Serow's speed Zone Lacing lets you dial your fit over your forefeet and above your ankles. The Burton Imprint 3 Liners feature Outlast Adaptive Comfort Technology—they soak up your excess body heat and give it back to you when your body cools down. For discontinuing the Serow in North America.
The only other Vibram soled boots are the Driver X and SLX. This is an outrage.
I bought my Serows 2 sizes smaller than my normal boot size and after they packed out, I loved them. If I had to buy another pair, I'd get them 1.5 sizes too small instead. Perfect flex, great outsole, BOMBER leather that still looks new after 70 days (super duper Scuff resistant!!!)
Basically the world's best boot. Someone PLEASE beg Jake's goons to reevaluate the Serow for North America.

I have a very narrow and long foot so it was hard for me to find something that would fit snugly and not kill me toes, this boot does that. It is very comfortable and very warm plus when it comes to riding the pow the feel is phenomenal.

Boot was comfortable, but the lacing system still needs work. Not very tough. I am a lifty and have to be on my feet a lot. The speed zone system just doesn't have the reliability of regular laces. Sure they are fast, but besides that they have no other high points.
