runs big, but it shrinks easy
- Fit: Runs large
- Size Bought: xl
The XL was a bit large at first (long in straps, wide arm holes, and a bit wide in the bust area), in fact I considered returning it or custom tailoring, but I decided to try tossing it in the dryer and it definitely shrunk, so this may be the reason it runs a bit big to start!
The fabric has a heavier weight to it, which I personally love as there are enough see-through fabrics in the world. I think the fabric weight gives it more of a classy casual vs super casual look. I've only worn it on cool spring days, but it seems like it would still be great mid-summer. Also seems like a sturdy fabric that will hold up well, but I'll update this if I'm mistaken down the road.
One other warning... they used real indigo dye, which is rad, but you must be careful not to wash it with anything light (at least for the first washes). I wasn't paying attention and the dye transferred to a light yellow shirt that was in the wash, even though I used a super gentle, all-natural, zero dyes or perfumes, HE soap and all cold water. It still transferred. So I will just wash it with blue jeans and black fabrics only for a while.
Switched out of my sweaty shirt and slipped into something more cute!

Big thanks to Backcountry.com and Burton for selecting me to review this sweet tank top. I just got this so its pretty new to me-but already i can tell it will be a go-to summer tank. First off i rated 4 stars due to sizing. I am 5ft 4 130lbs/athletic build 34C boobs. I am always a size small in clothes but i got this tank in Xs and boy am i glad. Fully suggest sizing down ladies-unless you have gigantic boobs. The xs was nicely fitted to my body-low enough im the chest for an appropriate amount of sexy cleavage. Not skin tight-just the perfect fit. If i had gotten a small i would have had an armpit gap and also looked a little saggy. I dont necessarily like super loose tops. Gives the body no shape-so unless you like the dinner sack look go down a size :) the material is 100% cotton-and a nice thicker feel to it. Giving it a nice quality not just a whisper thin tank that will fall apart in the first wash. But its not too thick where it feels like a sweater. Good length-not too short but long enough to cover you butt crack if you bend over. Not full butt coverage though. I got the blue with dot pattern. I love the button detailing and even the subtle leather B patch for Burton. Quality, flattering, cute summer tank!
Cute but runs a little large

Really cute and comfortable tank top that can be worn in almost any situation. I ordered a medium and its a bit to wide as well as long. I would recommend a small for someone my size.

I obsessed with this shirt and wear it year round. It’s one of my go-to pieces that I know will always look good dressed up or down.
The fabric has a really nice hand feel and thickness is perfect. Heavy enough that you can still wear a colored bra underneath without showing, but not so heavy that it’s too much for hot days.
I’m 5’7” and 130 lbs and a medium works perfect with plenty of length in the torso. If you are tall with narrow shoulders I would recommend sizing down to a small.
Make sure you care for the garment. I recommend hang drying it. I accidently dried it once and it is fine, but it seems like it would take a toll on the fabric drying it each time.
