Whether you’re boot packing or sitting on the seat of a sled, the Burton Rider's Pack holds all the gear needed for a successful day of shredding. To suit any approach, Burton makes this pack with vertical and horizontal snowboard-carry straps. Most athletes like to stay hydrated, that’s why Burton spec’ed the Rider’s pack to be compatible with hydration bladders—and they also gave it a beverage pocket to keep a frosty one ready to knock back. Perfect for long approaches, the Rider’s Pack also sports a fleece-lined goggle pocket to ensure your new lenses don’t get scratched during booter-building sessions.

Bottom Line: Hike into the backcountry or get there on a sled, the Riders Pack doesn’t care.

I love my Rider pack. I was first worried about the size but there is plenty of room for a day trip and books for school. The ability to turn your board vertical is great especially if you access your terrain by snowmachine.

That's correct, they un-clip and then re-clip across each other to hold the board directly on the outside back of the pack vertically! YEAH lyric, I understood, but that's a hard one to explain!

p.s. By far the sickest hiking and sledding pack... I even use my as a daily backpack.

Where it shows the four buckles in the picture, the left side has male buckles, and the right side has female straps. The four buckles are unclipped from the configuration shown, and they are clipped together to carry the board. Does that make sense?

Pros: Dual-board carry, highly adjustable, ergonomic shoulder and hip straps, lots of pockets, compression straps give it a snug, low-profile on your back.

Cons: Pricey for a lightweight nylon backpack.

If you can grab one of these comfortable, functional packs on sale, you won't be disappointed.
