The Burton Phantom Men's Jacket lets you ride in a warm, full featured shell without fully emptying your wallet. The Phantom Jacket is packed with 40 grams of Burton's synthetic Thermacore insulation to keep you warm when your local hill is enveloped in blizzard conditions. Its foul-weather features, like a powder skirt and Contour hood, seal out the elements when the wind's cranking and you're trying to relax on the chairlift. Burton built the Phantom Jacket with a goggle pocket to stash your specks and a pass pocket so you don't have to fumble for your pass in the lift line. *Available for US Shipment Only. - Fall 2007.

Bottom Line: The Burton Phantom Jacket gives you more bang for your buck.

yeah its barebones, dont take it out in a blizzard or rainstorm but besides that its "enough" for normal riding and conditions (5000 is the lowest waterproof rating there is, but its better than just water resistant)

took this jacket on a recent trip to VT and it held up quite well in cold conditions and got compliments the whole time. it does get a bit cold after a long hard day and the ipod pocket is useless if you dont have a nano (my U2 ipod refused to go in.... overall a nice jacket for a good price.

When the jacket is zipped up, undo the velcro, and you will find a secret-ish pocket that is for the ipod. the pocket that has a hole going nowhere is for stuffing you headphones into. Hopefully this helps you!
