If you seek the same all-terrain power, comfort and dependability that Jeremy Jones, Jussi and DCP demand, look no further than the P1. With a versatile mid-flex, the ergonomic Living Hinge highback lets you dial your forward lean and rotation so you can rip backcountry lines or butter boxes all day. The tool-free adjustable Gas Pedal and B3 gel-padded baseplate give you racecar-like handling and Cadillac comfort. The Telescoping Superstrap provides optimal ankle support, while the Super Capstrap with Grip Fit wraps around your toes to push back your heel and provide pressure-free comfort. Meanwhile, excessive amounts of padding absorb shock from rails, ice-covered landings, and choppy run-outs. *Available for US Shipment Only.
Bottom Line: Buckle up and experience true all-terrain luxury.
I only had these for one season before the highback snapped halfway down. It's still useable, but i wasn't even riding hard or anything when it broke. For the money i paid, i was pretty disappointed with what i was getting. I'd consider other options before settling on these.
These are probably the most cush and comfy bindings from Burton that I've ridden. Straps and ratchets perform flawlessly, and the cushioned baseplates rock.
My two complaints are: 1) they're not the lightest binding out there, but that's the price of comfort; and 2) in steep, icy conditions, the toestraps have hit the ice and washed me out. I have medium bindings and size 8.5 feet, so toe drag has never been and issue for me before.
But even though they're not cheap, the comfort and responsiveness are worth the cost.

I called the support line first before I bought and they said medium was fine for a size 10 boot. Well, they were wrong. Takes too long to strap in. Should have gotten a large size binding. If you are 9.5-10, you need a large binding in this style.
By far these are the best bindings I have used (compared to older Burton Missions, 07 Ride SPi). The straps solved pressure points I have fought with, and are amazingly responsive.
I am shocked an awed and the outstanding comfort, flexibility, and solid feel these bindings have all over the mountain. There's no awkward rigid spots that cut into your leg or pinch your foot. They're incredibly fluid because of the flex and the super-comfy straps. In fluff, they almost feel like they're part of your boots, yet they feel super solid when you need to stomp it on an icy landing. I used to be strictly a Ride bindings rider, but after seeing Ride pass off a cheaply-made, cookie-cutter piece of plastic as their '08 SPi, I moved on to these. And wow...I wish I had discovered the Burton P1 a lot sooner!
I got these bindings for my wifes new IVY solomon snowboard replacing a pair of technines. she claims that these bindings are very responsive and comfortable. top quality bindings. i will probably get a pair also my burton board.....keep up the great work... regards, jer
Mounted these on an old Burton Canyon for a couple of powder days at Aspen Highlands and they were fantastic! Definitely recommend them for all mountain riders
Pros: Super comfortable, there's cushion everywhere and the gel padded heel strap keeps your boot locked in. The fit is snug which makes the board light on your feel and incredibly responsive (contrary to what the reviews say). The cap strap with grip fit is also much improved from the original cap strap in that it has a lip that wraps around the bottom of the boot. That keeps it from sliding up over your toe, which is one of my biggest pet peeves. Cons: The cap strap with grip fit provides a solid fit but is a little harsh on the toe, I kinda wish it was a convertible cap strap. Another thing I found really frustrating was that there are two baseplate covers. One that is Burton specific with the 3 holes and a standard 4 hole baseplate. The Burton specific one is completely decked out with cushion, the other is not, so if you do not have a Burton board you're outta luck, there's a gap under your boot and you FEEL it. Conclusion: Ultimately, I have no regrets about buying these bindings. They're definitely worth $170. Buy them if you can get a deal!
I wish the entry of tab to binding was easier. When ice is on board they all are difficult. Otherwise the adjustability of these is beyond compare. Buy them and they will not disappoint. Burton should pay me for this honest but OUTSTANDING review.
Well Burton was right, these bindings seem to be the most versatile bindings in the bunch. I just rode them for the first time today and wow- these things are great. Talk about response and comfort! Hard turning carves as well as the park were A+ for my 10+ years of riding. I wont be trading these in any time soon.
Super nice bindings, my first with the new toe strap. I am very impressed at how easily these bindings adjust and release. I have ridden them hard for 4 days at Solitude Mountain Resort in Utah and they have done very well.
these bindings where amazing i just got them and brought them to Big Sky, Montana and it was great, for double black diamond terrain to rails and jumps, they were comfy especially the straps and they would be super responsive but the one problem i had was the ice on the gas pedal, i had to use my friends ski pole to scrape it off but otherwise than that it was the greatest binding ive ever ridin'
These bindings are great they have an awesome look and function very nicely. very sturdy and responsive. one compliant is i try to tighten down the straps more but sometimes they will slip of the ratchet. I probably don't even need them on that tight anyways
these are very good bindings the have excellent adjustability. they were a little weird feeling at first with the extra cushy padding but after a day or two i was very happy. Burton makes great gear and these bindings ROCK
I never used to wear strap bindings because they would cut off circulation in my feet making them cramp up. So I've gone through different types of bindings including Clickers and more recently Flow Bindings. The Burton PI Bindings are great! The straps are super easy to get on, adjust on the fly, and remove. Plus the toe cap helps prevent too much pressure on the ankle strap. Plus the bindings can be adjusted in many ways to customize the fit using everyday tools.
What a fantastic binding. They are light and durable. I have rode three other manufactures bindings and these are by far the best bindings that I have used. I highly recommend them to anyone in the market for new bindings.
These bindings are super comfy and plush, so if you are complaining about straps then try these out. They did lack a bit on the responsiveness. I guess it is all about trading performance for comfort. All in all they did the job better than a Lazy Boy Chair. If you want more responsiveness get the CO2s as they are almost as comfy as these.
These boots are sick and very comfortable. Great support. The only downside is the toe of the boot can be very stiff but it breaks it self in very nice after a while.
I only had these for one season before the highback snapped halfway down. It's still useable, but i wasn't even riding hard or anything when it more...
