Great boots for a once weekly rider
These boots are perfect for my needs. I am actually a woman (the size 11's women boots are a full size smaller and that's the largest size they come in) so I resorted to getting the men's version of the Moto boot. I gotta say, these are pretty perfect for my needs. They are supportive, comfortable, and great for my once weekly ride. Not sure how these would fare for every day riders, but for me, these are just what I need.
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Went to buy new snowboard boots for my large footed husband. First purchased the size 14 which is his street shoe size but too small. Returned and got size 15. Length was good but too tight at forefoot. No amount of adjusting was going to help. Returned this pair as well. Not sure online boot purchase is great idea. Will try local ski shop for better sizing . Giving 3 stars as backcountry was excellent to work with in terms of returning but boots just did not fit these feet.
Every Foot is Different
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
This review is for the Moto from 2 seasons ago. I bought these when I was new to snowboarding and didn't want to break the bank. But, I made the mistake of buying them without trying them on. A lot of friends recommended them to me & my brother in-law has had Moto's for years now. While they were well made and the speed lacing was nice, my arch was too high for them. Even as I tried to break them in, the roof of the boot was just too tight. So, I had to return them and look elsewhere.
If you're in the market for new boots, definitely look at these. But, try them on before you commit to them.
