Willing to accept any shred mission.

The Burton Mission Re:Flex Snowboard Binding is one of Burton's longest standing, most popular bindings, thanks to its all-mountain versatility and supremely comfortable feel. This ride-anything binding is great for all-mountain shredders thanks to a versatile flex that's responsive enough to handle technical terrain and high-speed laps, yet never too stiff for lapping the park or cruising around the mountain.

The canted highback is slightly angled to match your stance, improving control while also reducing calf fatigue. Living Hinge eliminates hardware and weight, and it allows you to adjust forward lean and highback rotation independently so you can get a truly custom setup. DialFLAD allows you to adjust the forward lean angle on your highback. Keep it neutral for a looser feel when you're jibbing, or crank it forward when you want better response for boosting icy pipe walls and carving down steep slopes.

FullBED cushioning absorbs shock from heavy landings, and an updated under-baseplate dampening pad smooths out vibrations to reduce foot fatigue when you're riding through variable terrain. The Reactstrap is contoured to match the shape of your boot for a secure, yet comfortable fit, and the new Flex Slider keeps the strap out of the way when not clicked in so it's easier to get your foot in the right spot when you need to strap in. An over-the-toe design allows the Gettagrip Capstrap to lock down your boot securely without creating pressure points. Smooth Glide buckles click in quickly and securely while also offering a buttery-smooth release to make getting in and out of your bindings easy as pie. Plus, it has Burton's Re:Flex universal mounting system so it's compatible with any snowboard.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These were my first Burton's since a long time ago when I was rocking the Burton P1's which I thought were the most comfortable bindings ever to be created! Until I tried these the CUSHIONING: Re:Flex FullBED Cushioning System with Under-Baseplate Dampening Pad eliminates any unpleasant feelings. The reactstrap rest nice against my boots for secure feeling along with the Gettagrip Cap strap rest so uniform on the tip of your boots makes it so you have the most solid feeling which in forgoes an awesome responsive binding! Listed as a Medium-stiff but I would say more on the stiffer side which I think really plays into the responsiveness you get! . All in all cant go wrong.

Perfect binding

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I gave this item as a gift, but have feedback to share. I waited a little to review to see if any complaint came up about this binding quality as he was sort of anti Burton at the start, but nothing has been brought to my attention at this time and he has put a solid 20 full days on this binding. Overall he raves about this model and finds it comfortable and sturdy for his resort riding needs. Overall a great purchase. I purchased the Splinter color in a size Large and it has worked well size wise with his 10.0 DC boots. At the very start he had concerns about the binding fitting his boot due to the length, but this was easily adjusted with a few snaps on the base plate.
