Description

A legend for a reason.

If you haven't heard of the Burton Mission Binding, you're either brand new to snowboarding, you've been trapped under a rock all your life, or you just haven't been paying attention. The Mission has been around forever, and Burton has been improving it every year. It ranks somewhere in the middle in terms of flex for true all-mountain versatility. It's also always been one of Burton's lightest bindings, mainly due to its simplicity. Lots of bindings come and go, but year after year the tough, lightweight, versatile Mission soldiers on.
  • Short-glass and nylon composite Re-Flex cored baseplate for durable lightweight response
  • Living Hinge highbacks eliminate hardware and let you adjust forward lean and rotation independently
  • Zero forward lean option for riders who prefer a playful relaxed feel. Highbacks can still be leaned forward
  • Gettagrip CapStrap with 3D curved Triple Axis Spine and toe- or cap-strap option
  • Superstrap 3D curved ankle strap with NeoPadding for added comfort
  • Rotatable highbacks allow you to dial in heel-edge response and enhance tweak-ability
  • Telescoping straps let you get your fit exactly right for greater comfort and response
  • Winged highbacks give you greater leverage for spinning, pressing, and buttering
  • Living Hinge highbacks eliminate hardware and let you adjust forward lean and rotation independently
  • Progressive flex construction targets flex specifically for optimum response without grabbing
  • True OTT highback padding eliminates pressure points

They're ultra responsive and pretty versatile. The ratchets could be better but all around it's a solid piece of equipment.

Rugged, reliable, and versatile, the Burton Mission EST offers nuke-proof performance in a no-nonsense package that sits between the Malavita and Cartel in terms of softness and response. Re:Flex? unlocks the baseplate for an evolution in cushioned flex and feel that?s compatible with virtually every board on snow.
