Ready for anything on the mountain.

The Burton Mission Re:Flex Snowboard Binding is one of Burton's longest standing, most popular bindings, thanks to its all-mountain versatility and supremely comfortable feel. This ride-anything binding is great for all-mountain enthusiasts with its medium-stiff flex, yet it's never too stiff for lapping the park or buttering around the mountain.

Built with Burton's Single-Component Re:Flex baseplate, the Mission Re:Flex works with any mounting system on the market, including standard 4-hole, Burton's older 3D system, and the newest Burton Channel system. This design removes unnecessary materials, reducing the deadspot inherent to traditional mounting discs. Its minimized baseplate and hinged disc maximize the flex of your board, also reducing weight for a lighter overall binding.

Having ample torsional flex for tweaking grabs and locking into presses, yet still delivering excellent heel-to-toe response for carving, the binding's Single-Component, Canted Living Hinge, Zero-Lean Hi-Back strikes an ideal balance between all-terrain responsiveness and freestyle-friendly playfulness. This Hi-Back comes with Zero-Lean, giving park and rail junkies the ability to grind and jib with a progressive park stance. However, the binding's DialFlad adjustment gives riders tool-less forward lean, should they need extra response for lapping the pipe or carving aggressively.

Rounding out the Mission's impressive list of features, there's an oversized React Strap that's 3D curved for an excellent fit without pressure points or hotspots. The binding's Gettagrip Capstrap is rubberized, securely grabbing your boot's toe and pulling it back into the binding's heelcup for a proper fit without excess slop. Add in Burton's Smooth Glide Buckles for a well-rounded binding that easily ratchets in and releases without hanging up.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These days it seems pretty tough to really differentiate what's different in a binding. I bought these near the end of the season, so I only got a few runs on them. So far, pretty solid overall. I bought the faded color and dig the matte look with the spray paint. I bought these to replace 8 year old missions and the updates make this a much more advanced binding. The toe strap is much improved, they're super light and flexible.

Awesome so far.

Got these for my son who had outgrown his old Mission smalls. He's rode them for a couple of months and digs them so far. Seem to be holding up well and are good bindings for the price.

what size binding would I need for a woman's size 8/8 1/2 boot?

Responded on

You'll need a Men's Small for a women's 8-8.5

Does this come with the 3D hole pattern of the 4 hole pattern plates?

Responded on

In 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 Burton shipped these bindings with all three (Channel, 3D and 4 hole) plates but has since stopped doing that for the 2014./2015 models.

They are only shipping the Channel plates for 2014./2015 but if you need 4 hole or the 3D hole pattern plates, you can reach them directly and they'll send out those plates free of charge.

I have since talked with Burton and found out that the reflex bindings actually do come with the channel plate and the 4 hole plate but, it does not come with the 3D plate. If you do need the 3D plate then you can contact Burton and they will ship them out to you.

You guys should double check your fact 1st lol. I almost ended up ordering another brand because of this. I called Adam at burton and he confirmed what Kyle was saying. I bet Adam called Kyle after i spoke to him. Great customer service Burton!

The information I've provided above was from a direct call that I made to Burton. Another customer ordered these bindings and received just the Channel disk.

I just called Burton again today and they said that the bindings should come with the 4 hole disks but some times boxes don't have the 4 hole disks. And that if you don't receive the 4-hole disks and need them, to call Burton directly and request them.

I ordered the Cartel today, is it poosible for you to check with warehouse and make sure the 4x4/4x2 plates are indeed included? going on the last trip of the season this Friday and found my 2014 Union had a cracked disc. Union wont honor the warranty cuz i dont keep my receipt so i'll be screw if the Cartel came without the correct plates.
Thanks again!

Bought this item from dog funk and in the description it says that I can use it with the 3d mount but I didn't say that it doesn't come with the 3d mount I bought the item and I realize that the mount was missing I called and I spoke to a customer rep and they send me a replacement and also was missing the part too so I called again and I spoke to another rep and a few minutes later found out that I doesn't come with the mount that I have to call Burton to get one for free. So I called and they told me it takes to weeks to get the mount very dissapointed cause I was going to Vermont on the next weekend .

pretty stoked

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

got these to replace a fraying pair of LTD Burton Doom's. Let's keep in mind that Burton bindings are tough and the only thing failing on these things are the fabric and composition of the cap and ankle strap--the hardware, highbacks and baseplate are still going strong even though they look like they've been to war. Burton makes top quality bindings, so I had no doubt these would live up to our expectations. He's pretty excited as this is his first pair that have fullbed padding. You definitely get your money's worth with these and you can't beat Burton's W48 warranty to boot. He's pleased to have another great Burton binding to ride. UPDATE: still love the bindings and function as intended; however, the denim like fabric shows what I believe are salt stains? it's quite bizarre really--and wipes off with a damp cloth, but a bit disappointed....

pretty stoked
