Endless fun will follow, should you choose to accept it.

The Burton Mission EST Snowboard Binding has been embraced by legions of riders for over a decade, and after just one lap with it you'll understand why. It has a responsive flex, cushy feel, and seamless board connection for a comfortable ride that shreds hard anywhere on the mountain. Burton knows your feet don't go straight up when you're strapped in, so your highbacks shouldn't either. The Canted Living Hinge highback follows the natural contours of your leg for a more natural feel and reduced fatigue.

The EST baseplate minimizes the dead zone underfoot so your board flexes naturally and allows for infinite adjustability. EVA in the low-profile SensoryBED footbed absorbs shock from harsh landings and smooths chatter without sacrificing board feel. The Reactstrap ankle strap with Flex Slider and Gettagrip Capstrap lock your feet down securely without creating pressure points, and Smooth Glide buckles click perfectly every time.

    Run large

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought these as a gift for my brother in law for Christmas this year. We had to return them because they started to tear after 3 days of snowboarding. Having seen my husband use his 10+year old Burton bindings all the time, I wouldn't write off Burton. But we did have to exchange them. He also mentioned that they seemed to run large. He wears a size 11 and ended up needing a size medium.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've been riding Burton Mission EST's for a couple seasons now. In that time, I've had no complaints. I don't ride park, but prefer either blacks or exploring the mountain with friends. Seeing how these were the first bindings I purchased once new to snowboarding, I can't compare them to many others. Nor can I compare the EST setup to traditional disc bindings. I did use Malavita EST's for a day at a demo, but I couldn't tell any differences between them and my Missions. Burton did a great job with these and I don't plan on riding anything else.

    Awesome Rasta Burton Bindings!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These binding look great on my Burton Whammy Bar, Rasta/Bob Marley EST! Love it, want to just hang it up on my wall for show. The mission bindings feel very responsive yet have some flex. They are also very light! I would recommend these to anyone who has a whammy bar board!
