Traction where you need it.

The low-pro Burton Mini Scraper Mats help you get a grip without plastering a huge pad on your board. These two-inch discs give you traction while getting off the lift and knock annoying ice buildup off the bottom of your boots.

Stick fine if you let them cure

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought these from a store locally and was told by the guy at the shop that I needed to let them cure at least 24 hrs and apply heat when applying them. I did this and they aren't going anywhere, I don't think I could even remove them if I wanted to. They're small, very translucent (close to transparent, you can hardly tell they're there, which was a big concern to me since I have an arbor board and didn't want to cover the deck), and are great for grip.

Definitely apply heat (hairdryer) to both the topsheet and adhesive before applying and let it cure for at least 24 hrs before trying to ride. They're great, and are perfect for getting grip without uglying up your board too much.

Clear only...translucent beware!

The clear mats work perfect, but I recently purchased the colored scrapers and the adhesive backing broke free from the pads on the first day. Adhesive remained stuck to my deck, the two stomp pads were nowhere to be found.

I agree with this review. Great idea, bad adhesive. They should have roughed up the underside so that the adhesive film actually holds on. I peeled the backing off the first one no problem, and stuck it on my board. Seems to hold fine. I peeled the second one and the adhesive came right off with the backing.
Called Backcountry, and instead of asking me to remove the first mat and send the whole thing back to them, they told me to just keep it and sent me a whole new package. Great customer service on their part, bad adhesive decision on Burton's part.
