The ideal in-between.

When it's not cold out, but it's definitely not warm, deciding what layers to wear is difficult. Make the choice easy with Burton's Midweight Women's Pant. Constructed from the Dryride Ultrawick fabric, these pants are quick-drying, highly breathable, and comfortable beyond your wildest expectations. The fabric wicks perspiration away from your legs, and it keeps them dry inside of your shell layer. In addition to this, the antimicrobial treatment means that after a fun-laden day of killing the runs, you won't stink. The midweight base layer is cute enough to wear après ski.

  • Dryride Ultrawick midweight fabric
  • Antimicrobial treatment
  • Wide waistband for greater comfort

Awesome base layer!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

Ordered a medium (5'8", 140 lbs. with muscular legs) and these pants fit great!!! Snug against the body, but by no means compression fit. I was a bit concerned about the leg openings holding up, as the edges are not hemmed, they are just cut fabric, but I've worn and washed these pants numerous amounts of times and have not had a problem yet.

True to size for me.

I bought a large and a medium, because sometimes Burton runs small and I am going to keep the medium pair. I would say true to size. I have an athletic build so my legs are muscular. Hope this helps!

Awkward crotch

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Bought the solid black in both small AND medium so I could pick the better fit. Had to send BOTH back because of the way the crotch fit. I have a small thigh gap and these wrinkled very loosely above my thighs were my gap is. I think if you have more of an athletic body type, these are probably okay. In terms of comfort and warmth, these seemed good. I didn't wear them out of the house but they were comfortable when I tried them on. I bought the Dakine Caia Pant instead and am so so so pleased I did so! For $20 more, I got exactly what I was looking for. First layers for snowboarding that could also be worn as leggings on a cold day. I highly recommend those!

Love the pattern!

The pattern is so cute and bright, great for after a long day on the mountain! These pants are the perfect layer, they dry quick and breathe super nice. I wear the midweight baselayers on most days out in the winter, definitely my favorite! I got the XS and the fit great! Happy with my purchase!
