The Burton Girls' Maddie jacket features a classic parka silhouette with a longer drop-tail hem, draped with cheerful color pops and watercolor-inspired prints. Retaining warmth on teeth-chattering winter days, the jacket's Thermacore insulation optimizes core warmth with heavier insulation (100g) through the body. The sleeves and hood use a bit less insulation (80g) for plenty of heat, but without the motion-restricting feel inherent to bulky winter jackets.

Burton's time-tested DryRide Durashell membrane provides water-repellency (10k) and breathability (5k) when she's honing her skills on the mountain and playing outside at recess. Mesh-lined underarm vents regulate her body temperature by releasing excess heat on warmer spring days. Keeping up with fast growing kids, Burton's Room-To-Grow system extends the sleeve cuffs by one full size. Simply turn the cuff inside out and snip the red thread to unravel extra sleeve length. Voila! The jacket's now ready for another winter season.
