Burton switched The Channel's hardware to a more standard size this year, and they wanted to make sure you could still use your old bindings. The M6 Transition Kit allows fitting your Burton bindings from 2008-2010 on Burton's new 2011 boards featuring The Channel M6 mounting system.
Bottom Line: A lot cheaper than new bindings.
