when i snowboard my jacket doesnt protect me at all i get soaked
when i snowboard my jacket doesnt protect me at all i get soaked and even my sweater gets soaked under my jacket!... and i find i cant stay out long so i need a jacket totallly water proof and warm is this good? also is this a slim fit?

This jacket has a pretty good waterproof rating of 10K and very decent breathability. So you should be fine as long as you don't roll around in the spring slush :-) It also has respectable amount of insulation - 100 grams should keep you warm, as well as the battery powered heater, which will get you toasty. One reason that you might get soaked could also be that when you fall, the snow "leak" in from the waist. So wearing a short inner layer, and using a powder skirt such that no clothing sticks out from underneath the powder skirt will definitely help keep you dry.

I'd been eyeballing this awesome jacket for some time. After finally ordering it, the size was way off. An XL usually fits my slightly chesty self. I couldn't even zip the thing past my hips. Toothpick gals, go for it. Anyone larger than a size 12... it's a NO GO.
Sad and cold-Minnesota.

I thought I'd be in love with this jacket. I ordered the Large because they said you might want to order up. It fit everywhere but the bust. I could zip it up but I was wearing a T-shirt and it was kind of snug. I ordered the last XL which, I can't believe... because I am of average height and weight. (just a little bustier than most I imagine)The XL came and it was now big in the hip, waist and arms and fit perfect in the bust area. So now I don't know what to do. It just seems so bulky now. Good luck and I hope this helped you.

Can someone please tell me how long the Burton Heated Dream jacket
Can someone please tell me how long the Burton Heated Dream jacket stays warm after the battery is charged? Are we talking five or six hours?Also are the sleeves heated?the winters here are brutal (-20 to -40 sometimes :/ ) making it hard to enjoy the mountains of snow. will this jacket actually keep me warm? It is difficult to find any google matches discussing the intensity of heat, and duration.

i found it's 4hrsJust to add: On the high setting (110 degrees F)the battery will last two hours. The medium setting (98 F), it lasts three hours and low (85 F) will last you 4 hours. The sleeves are not heated, just the front and back of the coat.
