it's amazing women's bindings come in camo

i almost got these but they were too large at my favorite shop, destination 1440 in berkeley. everyone was surprised there would be bindings in these patterns--it's so cool they're in camo! sadly most women are not cool enough to be into stuff like this so it doesn't make market sense but someday...

i wear a size 10 boot. would a large fit or do these bindings run small?

Responded on

you will need the the large for sure. The smalls will be too small for sure.

Responded on

Large should fit just fine as they go from 8 on up!

These work sweet as!

I got these bindings in a killer deal for the price they look awesome but preform even better. I get complements on them and I think the camo green throws people off especially when they hear burton lexa. I'm an 8.5 boot and I got Large and they fit really snug if you were a nine or 10 it might not fit your boot. The adjustments are not complicated and my feet seem to feel good even after riding all day so I'd say they're really comfy too.

Are these bindings only compatible with burton est boards? That's what someone told me. Thanks.

Responded on

No, the bindings will fit any board. A 4 x 4 pattern, Burton's 3-hole, or Burton's Channel.

The LEXA EST only works on the channel... This lexa (non-est) works on any board!

She should be in a size medium binding.

do these bindings fit on the youth burton dominate 138 cm snowboard?

Responded on

I depends on what size foot the rider using the board has. If the rider has a size woman's 6 or under in boot they will use a size small binding and then the binding board combination should be fine.

Not so sure about the Lexa's

I just got Lexa's this season, I used Drake bindings before. Not sure if anyone else has had issues with the buckles freezing open or slipping when tightening these bindings down. I have ridden all over the US and Canada and it seems like no matter what the climate I ride in this happens. It can be really frustrating and it makes me question if they are going to stay tightened down sometimes.

Not sure if I will buy replacement straps/buckles for this season or just get new bindings all together.

Any suggestions.....

Hey,
Are these sales in AUD or US dollars?
Cheers

Responded on

all prices are in US dollars

some brands cannot be shipped out of the united states, Burton being one of them. If you live in Australia then these cannot be shipped to you, sorry.

not bad except toe strap

These bindings were nice except the toe strap never stayed in place and slipped quite often in the powder. Other then that they were alright. Looked good.

hey,
just looking at buying a new board and bindings and noticed that there is a difference in the connections to the bindings with the screws positioning (in a straight line, or multiple screw holes)
just wanted to know how i choose which bingings for which board.
ta

Responded on

The triangle alignment is for burton boards, while the straight line is from other companies. the bindings come with the circular plates to fit either board. Just insure that the straight line binding system your talking about is not ics (binding system on some burton boards) because then these bindings will not be able to mount on the board.

Responded on

WRONG!!!!...ICS boards are compatible with ANY burton bindings...they come with plates that work for standard burton bindings, such as these...just no other companys...and almost all bindings fit with any board...except two cases; Burton ICS boards to non-burton bindings, and Burton EST bindings to non-ICS boards. hope that helps

cyrus hits the nail on the head. to simplify further, if you have zero idea (in which case you might want to head over to your local brick & mortar...) buy bindings and boards of the same brand. they will always be compatible.

Awsome bindings

Great bindings don't fall apart like my old Lexas did, buy them!

Good Bindings

My only complaint is that it's been really difficult to strap into my bindings b/c the straps are a bit stiff to move into nicely & easily into place. On the flip side, it's super easy to release the straps to get out of my bindings. Once I'm strapped into them, they're awesome. They look great and they've got good control.

Not the best, not the worst...

Toe strap slipped every day I wore them even after multiple adjusting. Also, ankle strap caused an unpleasant pressure on my inner foot. Other then that they worked fine. I find Burton gear to be on the "Cheap" side and have found better quality with other brands for cheaper prices.

Great bindings

Got these for my girlfriend. She's a beginner and loves the bindings. They are soft enough for good control and strong enough for stability.High back helps her with stances and all the advance adjustments on the Lexa it gives her more comfort.

Awesome

I love these bindings, all of my roomates have the same kind, except a year older. I like all the ways you can adjust them, but they take a while to shape to your boot and cap strap slips off your foot if you don't do it right, but overall very good and responsive steezy.

Awesome bindings

These bindings are awesome. They give a lot of support, and completely eliminate chatter. I like the supportive footstrap and toestraps, and the highback is nice and padded so it doesn't cut into my leg at all. These bindings seem very responsive, and the black/polka dot color is really cute :)

Polka dot bindings are A1

I really love these bindings! They are really sharp looking on a black board. The only problem I had was a bit of difficulty getting the binding bottoms to line up exactly with the board holes. I got it sorted and they ride smooth!

No more sleepy toes

I love the cap toe bindings, no more toes falling asleep. These bindings are pretty awesome, they are a little on the stiff side, but I am pretty happy overall!!!

Is there a big difference between men's and women's bindings?I was looking to get small men's bindings with a 6.5 boa boot.

Responded on

bindings are bindings, i know girls that ride cartels and they arent dead :-)...if you can get a nice pair of womes bindings that fit ur feet, go for it!...and womens bindings are usually built with the comfort of the lady at the forefront of the design

I am debating between the Lexa and the Escapade. Any major differences? Also, I have a size 6.5 boot. Will I be maxing out the straps on a small?

Responded on

No, there isn't really much difference between the two. However, you may want to consider getting a Medium, because with you 6.5 size book, it would be a lot easier to strap in than if you were to order a Small size binding.
