Great jacket. Only a shell so needs to be layered but also means it packs down small if needed. Hood is right size bigger than transmission hood.
do you need to zip in a fleece jacket into the launch jacket
do you need to zip in a fleece jacket into the launch jacket for added warmth. If so, can a north face fleece zip into it

there's no system in this jacket for zipping in a liner. but on cold days you will definitely need to layer under this shell. it is just a shell — no insulation.

The jacket is great!! I used in VA this past season and spring. On cold day/nights with 2 thermals under i was warm and warm day/nights great with a long sleeve under.... It keeps you dry underneath....Cool big pockets for goggles or gloves. Chest pocket for camera or anything you have. Ipod pocket and insert for plug.....Great id/lift/money pocket....last great looking!!!!
