Rule over the backcountry.

Put lift lines and clueless ski tourists behind you and blaze your own trail in the backcountry with the Burton Family Tree Landlord Splitboard. This powderhound floats effortlessly in bottomless snow, but don't go thinking this board is a one-trick pony—the Landlord Split also rips on hardpack and variable terrain so you can handle whatever the mountain throws at you.

Splitboards have traditionally used drilled inserts to mount the binding pucks. Because these inserts offer a finite range of angles, getting the pucks lined up exactly has always been a hassle. Because the Split Channel mounting system offers an infinite range of angles, however, getting the pucks lined up is a snap. This also makes it possible to get your stance exactly right, since you aren't stuck using a preset angle. Also, because it's so easy, you'll be more inclined to get it exactly right, rather than just getting it close and leaving it, which used to be the norm.

The Directional Camber profile is rockered from the nose to the front binding, then cambered from the front binding to the tail for effortless float and stability in deep snow, without compromising edge power and precision. The Superfly II core uses lightweight woods that specifically target strategic areas to drop weight and increase pop, and all the wood is FSC-certified so you know you're not destroying the rainforest for a snowboard. Dualzone EGD adds edge control by placing perpendicular strips of wood along the edges, and Squeezebox profiling creates thicker and thinner sections in the core to improve energy transfer and stability.

45-degree Carbon Highlights Hi-Voltage glass weaves carbon fibers into the fiberglass and adds a tip-to-tail layer of carbon fiber for lightweight response and strength. With Infinite Ride construction, Burton over builds the board then pre-breaks it in for you so the board feels the same from day 1 to 100. Finally, Burton added an ultra-fast Sintered WFO base (now made with recycled materials) so you can leave vapor trails all over the backcountry.
