The Joystick Snowboard offers the loose, skatey feel of Burton’s V-Rocker while still delivering enough response, pop, and edge grip to turn the entire mountain into your own terrain park. I'm looking for the ideal size joystick, parameters are as follows Height (U.S.): 185cm (6'1 ") Weight in pounds: 80kg (176), Ability: Intermediate, boot size 11,5. Currently my application is a 159w, but it may be this little for me? All mountain style treated Course and the powder, park rarely. More and more attract freeriders! me should replace a 163w size? Deep snow doing the bindings back to 1-2 cm? V-rockers can not be told, let centered. Or back to 1-2 cm? Is it good for deep snow of the board think of? What is your opinion?

By the description of your size and weight, as well as taking in to consideration your terrain preference, I would recommend riding the 161. The board is a V-rocker board and a twin-like shape. You don't need to set back your stance at all, but feel free too. It is all about how you like to ride. The Joystick is a mid-wide board, but if you can find the wide version then go for it. You have a 11.5 boot, the wide board would be great. Have fun, this board kills it.

The Joystick is my board of choice! I'm 6 foot and 195 lbs. (considering myself an advanced rider who likes tricks and powder) I ride the 157 as a park, rail, pipe, groomer stick... And then jump up to a 159 wide when its over knee high powder.
Just to note, this won the Transworld snowboarding good wood award!

No, these are only compatible with EST or 3D Burton bindings.

any bindings will work aslong as the binding company makes a channel disk, I haven't done a lot of research but Flow is the only other company I personally have seen sell a channel disk for their bindings, even the burton retro channel disk seems more heavy duty than the 3D disk...

The general theory with rocker is to size down, as with a rocker-ed board you use more of an edge between the bindings because of the rock. Its similar to having a longer effective edge.
Personally, I actually ride this board at the same size as my cambered.
The joystick is my weapon of choice for all conditions. I ride a 157 for jmups, rails, and pipe, and then drop into a 159W for deep powder. (I'm 6 foot and close to 200 lbs.)
This board changed my snowboarding for the better, hands down!

the most likely reason they suggest that is that the board rides as if it were a 1-2cm longer than it actually is. This could be because the board is rockered. Or it could be that they made the board a little wider which increase the surface area of the board and thus if the board is bought short the surface area is about the same. Hope that helps.

The nose and tail does not curve up as much on a rocker board, so even with a shorter overall length, the effective edge is the same
