Beat the park into submission with the Burton Joystick Snowboard. The combination of soft flex and V-Rocker shape makes the Joystick forgiving enough to charge hard in the park and versatile enough to explore the rest of the mountain.

  • V-Rocker means no hangups in the park and plenty of float in the pow
  • Super Fly II core strategically places stronger, lighter wood in specific areas of the core to provide strength and pop
  • Squeezebox technology transfers energy from underfoot to the edges for more pop and better edge hold
  • The Channel allows the rider to micro-adjust his or her stance over a greater length and an infinite range
  • Frostbite Edges extend slightly underfoot for better hold in icy conditions
  • Pro Tip reduces weight at the tip and tail for less swing weight
  • Dualzone EGD places the wood perpendicular along the toe and heel edges in two different zones to optimize edge control
  • Directional Flex means the board is packed with pop at the tail and resilience at the nose to help maintain control in any terrain

Bottom Line: Shackwackle your dillett inside the park and out.

I'm getting a size 11 burton boot and a large binding I was wondering weather I'd have toe/heel drag with a regular board or not because I'm not sure if I should get the joystick wide.

If you're against buying a wide board, the non-wide Joystick's still wider than most non-wide boards - it's designed to support size 10 and 10.5 boots. While a wide is still recommended for a size 11 boot, you're better off with a non-wide Joystick than most other non-wide boards.

Annas-

You probably want to look at the Wide. Once you are over a 10.5 a Wide is suggested. There is nothing worse than carving down the hill and catching a toe. Go with the WIde

Hey Anas, with a size 11, you are on the higher end of the spectrum for standard width boards, also meaning you would fall in the middle of the sizing chart for a wide board... You need to ask yourself a few questions first, what conditions will you be using this in? (powder, park, mix)? What is your weight/height? (if you are 6'1" and 210lbs vs 6'1" and 170lbs) What is your experience level? (beginner=wont notice the difference)...

I personally have size 12 boots so when picking out a board, no matter what kind/mfg/terrain type/etc, I always start with the midwide/wide boards with a bare minimum of 26mm waist...

I picked up this board about a month ago with the Burton Malavita bindings. The board is designed for EST bindings which i must say are waaay better than the standard plate setup. The board itself is super poppy and can handle the park, woods, and cruisers. Really fun board for anyone looking for an all mountain board who likes to occasionally dip into the park.
