You don't have to look like an astronaut or a guy on a Himalayan expedition to stay comfortable while you ride. The Burton Indulgence Pant features a stretchy, stylish slim fit with a lower rise and slightly longer inseam, yet it still offers blizzard-worthy weather protection. Burton treated the Indulgence with a DWR that blocks light rain and snow before it even gets to the waterproof breathable DryRide Durashell laminate, and a stretch taffeta lining adds warmth and a luxurious feel.

The Indulgence pant provides protection where it counts. The waterproof breathable DryRide Durashell membrane and fully taped seams handle powder and winter storms. If it gets too warm, you can dump heat in a hurry by popping open the mesh-lined inner thigh vents. The microfleece fly and waistband are soft to the touch so you won't get nasty hot spots if your skin rubs against your pants. Burton also built a jacket-to-pant interface into the pants so you can attach them to your Burton jacket to create a suit of snow-proof armor. Expandable boot gaiters slide over your boots to keep snow from finding its way in. The integrated waist adjustments allow you to customize your fit, and you can dial it in with the belt loops or just use them to accessorize. Burton also included reinforced hems with cuff elevators so you don't shred your pants walking through the parking lot at the end of the day.

Very So-Cal-ish

  • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it

Meh. Props to Burton for making a pair of pants that I feel caters to the So-Cal crowd. Southern CA peeps tend to be a bit more trendier and fashionable than most in America and I feel the style of these pants definitely is spot on. (Too) Low-rise and tight! Not my thing when I'm trying to have an active day on the slopes. I bought a small (which is usually my size) and after doing research on this product decided to stay with what I normally wear. I think getting a medium would be better for my needs (roomier) but I decided to return these because I wasn't a fan of the material. I got the orange color (which is super lovely and bright and what I was expecting) but the material just feels too thin for a shell compared to other shell pants I have worn. Another thing I liked about these pants is if you are shorter rider, and are going to your car or to the lodge, you can hook your pants up so they don't drag.

Look Great

These are super flattering and I think they would definitely be comfortable. The fabric is slightly stretchy, which allows them to be fitted and comfortable at the same time. I found the the medium to be slightly too fitted, but I think a large would have fit me perfect, especially with the adjustable waistband (I am 5"7, 130lbs and I am usually a size 6).

I returned them because I am usually snowboarding when it is really cold (Northern Wisconsin/Michigan) and I decided I really needed something with insulation to keep me warm enough.
