You don't have to look like an astronaut or a guy on a Himalayan expedition to stay comfortable while you ride. The Burton Indulgence Pant features a stretchy, stylish slim fit with a lower rise and slightly longer inseam, yet it still offers blizzard-worthy weather protection. Burton treated the Indulgence with a DWR that blocks light rain and snow before it even gets to the waterproof breathable DryRide Durashell laminate, and a stretch taffeta lining adds warmth and a luxurious feel.

The Indulgence pant provides protection where it counts. The waterproof breathable DryRide Durashell membrane and fully taped seams handle powder and winter storms. If it gets too warm, you can dump heat in a hurry by popping open the mesh-lined inner thigh vents. The microfleece fly and waistband are soft to the touch so you won't get nasty hot spots if your skin rubs against your pants. Burton also built a jacket-to-pant interface into the pants so you can attach them to your Burton jacket to create a suit of snow-proof armor. Expandable boot gaiters slide over your boots to keep snow from finding its way in. The integrated waist adjustments allow you to customize your fit, and you can dial it in with the belt loops or just use them to accessorize. Burton also included reinforced hems with cuff elevators so you don't shred your pants walking through the parking lot at the end of the day.

  • DryRide Durashell membrane, fully taped seams
  • Slim fit
  • Zippered, mesh-lined thigh vents
  • Reinforced hems with cuff elevators
  • Expandable boot gaiters
  • 2 fleece-lined hand pockets, 1 ATM pocket

Very So-Cal-ish

  • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it

Meh. Props to Burton for making a pair of pants that I feel caters to the So-Cal crowd. Southern CA peeps tend to be a bit more trendier and fashionable than most in America and I feel the style of these pants definitely is spot on. (Too) Low-rise and tight! Not my thing when I'm trying to have an active day on the slopes. I bought a small (which is usually my size) and after doing research on this product decided to stay with what I normally wear. I think getting a medium would be better for my needs (roomier) but I decided to return these because I wasn't a fan of the material. I got the orange color (which is super lovely and bright and what I was expecting) but the material just feels too thin for a shell compared to other shell pants I have worn. Another thing I liked about these pants is if you are shorter rider, and are going to your car or to the lodge, you can hook your pants up so they don't drag.

How is the fit of these pants?

How is the fit of these pants?

Hey Maddy

The fit is slim so it is going to be skinnier in the thighs and taper out toward the bottom so you can fit the cuffs over your boots. I hope that this helps and let us know if you need any more help.

Party in my pants

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:Runs small

Awesome, stylish, and comfortable pants. I love these and how they fit.

I'm 5'9 and about 130 lbs and wear a large and it fits perfect.

The Society pants in small fit a little...

The Society pants in small fit a little large on my waist and hips, which are really narrow. Medium Society pants are huge. What size do you recommend in these? Small or medium? I need to wear a base layer underneath. I'm 5'8" and 135.

  • Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Bought these for my niece. Luckily for me she had tried on the pants before hand and knew her sizing. She is about 5'6 and seem to fit her well.

Look Great

These are super flattering and I think they would definitely be comfortable. The fabric is slightly stretchy, which allows them to be fitted and comfortable at the same time. I found the the medium to be slightly too fitted, but I think a large would have fit me perfect, especially with the adjustable waistband (I am 5"7, 130lbs and I am usually a size 6).

I returned them because I am usually snowboarding when it is really cold (Northern Wisconsin/Michigan) and I decided I really needed something with insulation to keep me warm enough.

I noticed that these are not insulated. Will they keep me warm in 20 degree weather?

Hey Ashley,

It will totally depend on you as a wearer! I personally just wear shells at 20F (but I also wear kneepads so that helps with a little warmth). If you do get chilly, a thin baselayer will fit under these no problem!

Hey there! I'm 5'8 and 120 lbs...I like my pants to be fairly long, will the medium work for my height or should I bump up a size?

Hi Katie,

A Medium will get you a 31in inseam, and a Large will give you a 32in inseam. So not a huge difference, but definitely a little bit of extra length!

Should I go down a size if they are...

Should I go down a size if they are stretchy?

Hey Felicia,

I would go with the size you normally order, the stretchy fabrics will allow you to move more freely while riding, but your normal size will fit you just great.

Im ready !

The articulation creates a really good slim fit. The fabrics of this pant makes it feel a little more then just a shell. Bring on the winter because I?m ready!
