The Burton Hero Snowboard packs a V-Rocker shape that increases float, makes riding effortless, and still holds an edge like few boards out there. You also get a Freestyle Scoop nose, which creates an ultra-forgiving ride that’ll make you wonder how you ever got by without it.

  • Twin flex makes it easy to ride and land switch
  • Soft flex lets you butter the boxes like nothing else
  • Channel binding connection works with EST and 3D bindings
  • Pro-Tip construction reduces swing weight to make spins easier
  • Sintered base for plenty of speed and excellent durability

Bottom Line: Where’s your cape?

152 for sure. I'm guessing you will be growing as well. So go with the 152.

i would get a bigger board if i were you. 162 is too small espcially if you are in powder a lot. I am your size and i ride a 168. my previous board was a 163 and this is just so much more comfortable and absolutely flies

I would go for the Lib Tech TRS BTX, it rides like a dream and is stiffer than a lot of other boards with reverse camber.

I would say that yes, this board would be too soft for you. Burton rates this as a 2 out of 10 I believe, and for a person of your height and weight it would probably be a very soft ride. I would maybe suggest the Arbor Draft. It's a rockered board using "grip tech" to give you that edge bite you need in a reverse camber snowboard.
I would also suggest getting at the minimum a 160. The reverse camber will make the board ride shorter on hardpack but longer in pow.
