Your busser’s wages don’t exactly put you in the lap of luxury, but they do get you the Burton Men’s Hail Snowboard Boot and daylight hours off to ride, ride, and ride some more. Burton built these boots for lapping the park till your legs cramp, but the Hails can take on the slopes when necessary, such as after that two-foot dump. New oversized airbags ease the shock of hard landings, and flex zones allow for enhanced mobility without sacrificing response.
New oversized 270-degree airbag covers 75% of the midsole to absorb impact when you land
Articulating cuffs allow upper and lower parts of the boots to flex independently to maximize heel hold and assure mobility
The Hail’s Flex Spine Backstay allows for lateral and medial flex while maintaining edge-to-edge support
Stay Puft Capsule airbag on the exterior of the boot’s cuff cushions your calf where it hits your binding’s highback
Flex 2 liners with TaiPanels balances smooth flex with strategically placed panels for solid support
Flex Cuffs hug your ankles to enhance heel hold without losing the forgiveness needed for street and park

hello, I just purchased the Burton Clash board together with the Burton freestyle bindings. I am a beginner snowboarder so I was wondering what would possibly be the best boot for me. My price range is around $150. Thanks
Check out the Burton Moto. It is a really soft, easy-in, easy-out boot. Really comfortable. It retails for 160, so it should be less then that for sure.

I will like to know which will be a good setup. I have the Burton Jussi 159 2010 board (6 rating), Cartel EST bindings (7 rating),I wonder which boot will be a great performance match. I will mostly be doing carving, piste, all mountain freeriding ...
This boot will work great as its a medium to softer flex and will match up cleanly... you can also check out the ruler, Ion, or SLX as they are all roughly medium flex too.
I ride a lot of park but i also like to mix it up and hit the slopes or the backcountry. I'm looking for a responsive boot, but since i broke my ankle twice in the past 5 years I also want some good support. I was looking at the 32 Lashed boots (maybe TM 2s), but I wouldn't mind spending the extra dough on a pair of Burton Hails if thats the smarter choice. Any suggestions?
The hail is a great boot! It has internal ankle support that connects to the boot (not the liner like some lower end models)...
The hail is very responsive with a great cushioning system (great for bigger jumps or hard landings off rails)!
This boot is a medium flexing boot so if its rigidity your looking for I would suggest the Ion or Ruler... I have ankle problems and rock a boot fairly similar to this called the grail. Similar flex and feel! Needless to say, I don't have problems with my ankles anymore!
