Zip up the Burton Women’s Guardian Down Jacket and ride inside a fortress of warmth. Burton gave this waterproof Sig-fit (loose) puffy a microfleece lining and 550-fill down insulation for supreme warmth on days colder than a witch’s spit. The Guardian’s Dryride durashell fabric and two-layer laminated construction block moisture from invading your cocoon of warmth, and mesh-lined Underarm zips dump excess warmth when you’ve been working your tuchus off. This Burton jacket also features a waist gaiter that you can connect to your Burton pants, and a cornucopia of pockets for your tunes, goggles, snacks, and pass. - Fall 2008.
Bottom Line: The Burton Women’s Guardian Down Jacket stands vigilant against cold.

Belting jacket - was warm and cosy the whole ski trip. Looks best with white ski pants - was happy to don for Apres and on the slopes. Big fan, thanks for the pressie Chezzabell!
What's up with the sizing? For a chest size of 36 inches the burton web page suggests a size SMALL (http://www.burton.com/Tech/Default.aspx#/stories/1/) and this on a size LARGE (http://www.burton.com/Tech/Default.aspx#/stories/1/)? HELP

I bought the multicolored one and it has stayed perfectly clean so far. It is toasty warm, has room for 4 layers. I am 5'4" 128 lbs and got the medium. I wish I had gotten the large because I like my jackets roomy. However it looks great, does not look puffy like other down jackets, is not too short and I have gotten many compliments on the mountain. I did remove the fur trim from the hood. I like it so much I have ordered two more Burton Jackets (different styles & colors)and I am eagerly awaiting their arrival
I wore this jacket for 2 hours while skiing. Yes it is extremely warm, but gets really dirty just standing around. Yes, it is white and can be expected to get a bit dirty, but even under the arms was filthy. Nothing was under my arms during those hours. I think the fabric, soft...attracts every dust particle around. It's unfortunfate, pretty cool jacket, if you don't mind having a white jacket that turns grey.
But: it isn't the warmest jacket. It's not very thick either.
The good parts are: the length is great (covers my bum), the wrist have the tight fleece part I was looking for, the hood isn't in the way when I drive, and it doesn't get dirty as another person said (I wear it in the city, not the slopes...).
I got the multi-colored one, so I Didn't have a problem at all with it getting dirty. It is super warm. While everyone else on the slopes are freezing on those nearly 0 degree days, I remain warm and comfortable. It's the coolest looking jacket I've seen, and I have yet to see another chick sporting it. I love all the hidden pockets and the fur lined hood too. I'm keeping this one for years.
